Any chance of stocking these in the UK, @LidlGB? Fantastic flavour and very spicy.

Tomorrow's news today! @themjcouk #mjfutureforummidlands2026 Good to see and hear from many colleagues from #localgov in Midlands and beyond

Looking forward to the costing of the element that would be run by #localgov and guarantee of the extra funding for that. O/wise would represent a cost shunt from central to local govt. bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cz97…

No mention of Dyffryn Tywi. Doubt such a temporary financial incentive would overcome opposition to permanent damage of pylons to this beautiful area. bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c8rn…

Interesting Wyre Forest link for the new @10DowningStreet. Last PM To be educated at @Cambridge_Uni was Stanley Baldwin, long serving MP for Bewdley, thrice PM. Gap of nearly 90 years to the present PM, following 6 @UniofOxford PMs in succession.

V sad news for all of my generation who remember The Goodies. BBC News - TV presenter Bill Oddie dies at 85 bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cjej…

Oh, @BBCNews. Are you so bereft of people who know who to write English that you can't manage "for whom"? John Donne and Ernest Hemingway will be spinning in their graves! – at Kidderminster, England

Er, no, @BBCNews. The tapestry must post date 1066. So it must be less than 1,000 years since last seen this side of the Channel. 🤦‍♂️

Centralist Whitehall doesn't understand #devolution. Text from @LGiU. Councils will "apply" to set own threshold. Plain as a pikestaff that value of money has changed since 2013. Why doesn't @educationgovuk increase limit for all, & allow all councils to go higher if they want?

I have had this @Solace_UK mouse mat for over 20 years. It has seen better days and indeed has the old logo on it (pre 2015, I'd guess). Now being retired in favour of a new mat from #lgaconf26

Sympathy to colleagues at @Tendring_DC ....having to run a by election which might result in no change. If that happens, will probably cost £100k - for what purpose?

S of S @mhclg @SteveReedMP answering questions in person at ##lgaconf26 - no recorded video statements here! 😉

Jenny Rowlands, interim ch exec @LGAcomms, gets #lgaconf26 under way (view from "the gods")

Loved the slip on @BBCWorldatOne . PM has announced extra £15 for defence spending. Corrected to £15 bn. 😃

10p per litre (=c.45p a gallon) difference in price of diesel @Tesco between Kidderminster and Wolverhampton. Don't think 18 miles of extra haulage (if there is any) would explain that. Justification, @Tesco, or is this proof of cartel in Kidderminster area?

Ch execs of @WalsallCouncil Emma Barnett and @TamworthCouncil Stephen Gabriel get #communitycohesion2026 under way @Wolves

Misleading, @mhclg. Evidence of pensions not being paid? "people’s retirement savings are properly looked after" now. However funds are managed & invested, amount of pension specified in legislation. Not clear how these changes "benefit" #localgov staff. gov.uk/government/news/new-p…

1) supermarkets intensely competitive already 2) many people can pay - freezing prices benefits well off households 3) don't delay e.g. taxes on unhealthy food, increase benefits to help those really struggling e.g. housing element of universal credit 🤷‍♂️ bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c5y7…
