If you are running for federal office, or statewide office in Indiana, you can easily find fundraising history for every single dollar that has ever been donated to that candidate’s campaign.
In many Indiana counties, they also have this information publicly available on their Board of Elections website.
However, in Lake County, you are required to submit a specific request to their office to be able to get this information.
Can anyone figure out why in Lake County, famous for its transparency and lack of corruption, the Board of Elections (controlled by Democrats) wouldn’t want local campaign finances to be readily accessible?

I saw @lydiataydavis speak tonight at the Northwest Indiana Right to Life fall dinner. She was incredible. It was by far my favorite speech I’ve seen this whole election cycle. We must keep fighting to end abortion in our society.

Voters told me they want Rudy to continue to bring common sense Hoosier Midwest values to Washington. They do not want Rudy’s opponent Jamee Decio to bring her leftist California polices to our district here in Indiana. Rudy wants to empower ICE. Decio wants to abolish ICE. Rudy wants to lower your taxes. Decio wants to raise your taxes. Everybody get out to vote November 3rd. There is a lot at stake!

Our election laws are only as strong as their enforcement. Allegations like these deserve a thorough investigation, and Hoosiers deserve answers.
@MaxForIndiana has emphasized that, as Secretary of State, he WILL uphold election laws, strengthen election security, and hold those who violate the law accountable.
American elections are for American citizens.
A Vigo County resident faces felony charges for allegedly registering unlawfully, committing perjury, and voting in six elections between 2018 and 2024 despite being a noncitizen.
I commend @ToddRokitaIN and Prosecutor Terry Modesitt for pursuing these allegations.
As Secretary of State, I’ll work with Rokita to strengthen citizenship verification and enforce our election laws.
