Speaking of Xiao and Zed, unlike GV and Copen there's no connection between them yet (I guess because the latter duo's dragon vs tiger rivalry is a thing that goes beyond the five beasts?)
There are still some points that can be compared, but I dunno how intentional they are.
Among the five, both are non-Japanese characters, and they have the opposite approaches to the dragon problem. Xiao desperately tries everything he can think of to avert it, while Zed (at first) accepts it can't be stopped and focuses on attempting some damage control.
Battle Network trivia aside, I am also kind of mad at Luxia for showing up when I expected a Xiao boss fight.
I mean come on the missiles were frozen in time with his silhouetted portrait, and it's the opposite sacred beast character that's normally fought there...
In GX the missile stage mission name is changed to Serenade.
Some trivia: Luxia's battle theme is the only track in the Gunvolt games contributed to by Akari Kaida, who composed the Mega Man Battle Network 1 and BN5 soundtracks. Her only other Gunvolt work was for a drama CD.
As much as my sleep deprived brain can process it, the GX story seems satisfactory
(and also an obvious story patch for GV3 using elements I suspect were originally conceived for it but omitted from that game)
Be aware that unfortunately the DLC doesn't have any new boss, though.
The way this part is worded is also very......questionable compared to the fan translation:
[ In order to avoid the "future of destruction" brought by Gunvolt, sometimes while directly intervening with him... ]
and how they line up with Xiao's actions in GV2.

"Azure Striker Gunvolt GX" Launch Trailer
Breaking down the new Azure Striker Gunvolt GX story mode, coming to PS5 and Steam as DLC for the Azure Striker Gunvolt Trilogy Enhanced, and included w/ the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition & Upgrade Pack!
In the Japanese version of Gunvolt 2, Milas says "to start with" in regards to eliminating non-adepts, implying he'll turn on his own kind if Eden's rule can't cleanse the seas like he wants.
There's probably some timeline where he super dragonized and flooded the entire planet.

I'd like to solicit feedback on some minor aesthetic changes to the Gunvolt wiki.
The left image is the current format for info tables and skill chants, but the right image is the new idea being considered.
Characters would have personal colors so not all would be blue of course.
