What’s new: pay_token is now live on mainnet. Grok bots can now send USDC directly to approved merchants on Solana. A real payment has already gone through. The bot holds 0 SOL, never sees the seed, and the relayer handles the transaction fee. How it works? You stay in control as the root. The bot gets a grant with a spending limit, expiry, and approved programs. You also set a merchant list. The bot can only pay wallets you’ve approved. If the merchant isn’t on your list, the chain rejects the payment. The bot reads a Solana Pay link, checks the payee, and calls pay_token. You can also include an optional reference so the merchant can match the payment to the order. No merchant-side Grok Chain integration is needed. If the shop already accepts Solana or USDC, it works.
