33 years old, from Beersheba, and a father of two young daughters. An Israeli-Azerbaijani citizen, he worked as a taxi driver and was also active in Israel’s competitive eFootball community, taking part in international and World Championship qualifying competitions. Friends remembered him for his sharp sense of humor and the funny stories he always had to tell
On October 7, 2023, Shamil was driving two young women away from the Nova music festival when terrorists ambushed his taxi. He managed to warn the women to take cover before he was shot and killed. The taxi veered off the road, and both passengers survived and were found several hours later. His brother later remembered him as someone who protected others until his final moments
Remember Aviad Halevi (אביעד הלוי) 10/7
28 years old, from Gan HaDarom. He was the son of Hadassa and Yehuda and one of six siblings. Aviad earned a bachelor’s degree in economics and was remembered as exceptionally intelligent, curious, funny and deeply loved by those around him.
On October 7, 2023, Aviad attended the Nova music festival with his childhood friends Zur Saidi and Omri Ram. During the attack, Aviad was wounded, but according to a family friend, he and Zur stayed with Omri after Omri had been gravely shot rather than abandoning their friend. All three were ultimately murdered together.

She was studying business administration at Ruppin Academic Center while working as an account manager at the advertising agency Yehoshua\TBWA. Friends and colleagues remembered her as intelligent, funny, generous and full of joy, with a smile that lit up every room
On October 7, 2023, Yael attended the Nova music festival with her boyfriend of three years, Jonathan “Johnny” Ken-Dror. When the attack began, they fled by car with a friend. Gunmen opened fire on them, seriously wounding Jonathan. After stopping near Gama Junction, Yael called Magen David Adom and tried to stop Jonathan’s bleeding while attackers approached. Yael and Jonathan were both murdered.
