£630 MILLION of public money on taxis and private ambulances in the last 5 years!
13 years of Tory mismanagement has left taxpayers paying more but patients waiting longer.
Every pound the Conservatives waste means less for staff and worse services for patients.
EXC: The NHS spent £400k a day on private ambulances and taxis for patients last year as staff shortages and increased demand forced trusts to draft in private companies.
Spending on private ambulances shot up 62% in the last three years with some ambulance trusts more than doubling their spending.
Last year’s total bill came to £145million and could have paid the salaries of more than 3,100 ambulance staff.
@wesstreeting slammed the spending saying: ‘Under the Conservatives, the NHS is forced to chuck ever greater sums of money at taxi firms and private ambulances, because ambulance services simply cannot cope.’

Experts warn the self-harm is ‘contagious’ with children copying what they see on social media.
But lockdowns and poor mental health care are also driving up cases.
