Very exciting to share our latest article in which we discovered how cardiac splicing factor RBM24 regulates core myofibril genes to assemble sarcomere.
Lu & colleagues demonstrate the alternative splicing mediated by #RBM24 facilitates #myofibrillogenesis in a differentiation stage-specific manner. Learn how inclusion later in cardiac development is critical for sarcomere assembly ow.ly/tf5H30s6Pzt

I am a fan of @eLife who have published 2 original papers in the journal (in 2018 and 2022). Apparently, the new review model is not perfect and many have raised concerns about the process and outcome. I still give my supports to them and will send manuscript to the journal.
Today, we’re introducing a new model that eliminates accept/reject decisions.
By publishing every paper with eLife reviews as a Reviewed Preprint, we plan to restore autonomy to authors, ensuring that they will be judged by what, not where, they publish. elifesciences.org/inside-eli…
