The Airports Authority of India showcased India’s growing aviation sector at Routes World 2026 @routesonline in Frankfurt, which witnessed participation from around 40–50 countries, including international airlines, airports and aviation industry stakeholders. The Indian delegation also promoted Routes Asia 2027, which will be hosted in New Delhi from 16–18 March 2027. Under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi Ji, India’s aviation sector is expanding connectivity and creating opportunities for tourism, pilgrimages, education, trade and regional development. Routes Asia 2027 will provide a platform to strengthen international partnerships, explore new air routes and support India’s emergence as a global aviation hub, contributing to the vision of Viksit Bharat @ 2047.

Continuing the momentum of the Aviation Career Guidance Program (ACGP), the next session was organised by AAI under the guidance of Ministry of Civil Aviation on 14th Oct 2026. Through this initiative, 72 schools have been covered across India in the last two weeks, engaging around 4800 Class XI–XII students, providing them with insights into industry-oriented skills, qualifications and career pathways in Commercial Piloting, Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, Air Traffic Control and Aviation Security. By bringing the aviation industry closer to classrooms, ACGP is empowering young Indians to make informed career choices and helping build a skilled, capable and future-ready workforce for India’s rapidly expanding Civil Aviation sector.
