I dont agree with this man on a lot of things but this one i give am 100%. Mad people plenty for this app
“If you are not a woman, you should not be a gynaecologist and you should not speak on women’s issues” So according to this retarded logic: Only children should be paediatricians. Only mad people should be psychiatrists. Only cancer survivors should be oncologists. Only accident victims should be Accident and Emergency physicians. Only deaf people should be ENT surgeons. Only people with eye problems should be ophthalmologists. And to crown it fully: I guess only dead people should become pathologists and do postmortems? Because how can you work on a corpse if you have not been a corpse before? Right? Righttt???? Okay. One day you people will realise that we have roaming lunatics on this app, but you don’t know it yet. Someone on your TL is obviously running mad, you think they are just “woke”. Shey o digba ti won ba bugi je before you stop them?

Lol.. they've resurrected this pregnancy death sentence discussion again. As someone whose 3 pregnancies tried to kill in 3 different ways, with the last one almost succeeding with PPH, I can't even drop opinion. All of us go dey alright. ❤️💡

The truth is, if Debbie had said, "Pregnancy is a death sentence", the same mob would still come for her. I hope by now she’s grown thick skin and learned to live with the dragging, because every market day, they’ll find fault with whatever she says.
Did you know that: Going for a BBL is as good as a death sentence. Desiring to do a BBL is actually a death wish. And I am not exaggerating. This is a medical fact. The BBL procedure is medically known as the most dangerous cosmetic medical procedure that a human being can do. Even if you do it in the best centres in the world. BBL is the singular cosmetic procedure that kills the highest number of people. Again, this is a medical fact. But guess what? You will never see anyone refer to a BBL as a death sentence even though by all medical evidence available, going to do a BBL is actually making a death wish. Make of this post what you like. I hope you have learnt something new.

Most of our mothers gave birth to at least five children. My mother-in-law had 12, my grandmother had 12, and my own mother had six of us. I remember a conversation with my mother-in-law where she said that if her husband hadn't died early, she probably would have had more children. I laughed so hard that day. What struck me was their attitude towards pregnancy and motherhood. They had their challenges, but they didn't approach pregnancy with the kind of fear we see today. Now, this generation wants every woman to see pregnancy as a death sentence. You cannot even speak positively about motherhood without someone bringing up horror stories. Yes, pregnancy has risks, and women deserve proper medical care. But must every conversation about pregnancy be filled with fear? Some of you have mental problem!!!

Whenever I see things like this, I curse Nigeria even more. Can we ever reach this level, FFS? This is just one section of their campus, and they’re expanding the existing structure. May God help us.

If men start saying they want to hear from the other side, they’ll start crying, “Oh, men don't take grspe issue seriously, which is why people don't come forward to tell their stories." And it's because of m@d people like her who use the word loosely. This gender!!! God abeg

"Please, I really need your honest advice on a situation with my boyfriend. I’m a 28-year-old nurse, I’ve been in a relationship with this guy for about 10 months. He is generally loving and has been faithful, but there is one major issue that is starting to exhaust me. Every time I visit his house, I basically take over the chores. I do his laundry, iron his clothes, deep clean the house, and handle all the cooking & dishes before I head home. If I miss even one tiny thing, he makes sure I hear about it. He actually takes photos of my "mistakes" with his phone & sends them to me along with insults. If I forget a single plate or even just one spoon, he snaps a picture and sends it to me to shame me. Yesterday morning at 8Am, I went over and did my usual routine cleaning, washing, & cooking. After we ate, I cleared the table & washed the dishes. He then asked me to run to a nearby shop to buy him some beer. By the time I got back, I was in a rush cuz I had chores to finish at my parents' house, so I accidentally left one spoon unwashed in the sink. When i got home, it was 12 pm. I tried calling him 7 times just to let him know I got home safe since he didn't even care to find out either, but he ignored every call. I texted him all through the day with no reply despite that he was online the whole time. Finally in the evening at 5 mins to 6 pm he sent me two photos of the things I "failed" to do. His message said: 'What kind of lady are you? How can you forget to clean the spoon?" He told me I need to "work on myself" over a single spoon. Honestly I'm tired, My phone is literally full of photos he has sent me of minor things I forgot to clean over the last 10 months. This happens every single time. I don’t know how to handle this attitude anymore or if I can even change it. I really wish for him to change this annoying attitude. !Please, what should I do? How do I handle a man who acts like this? Help! 🤦🏽‍♂️"

Do you also know that 85 women give birth every 7 minutes without complications? I’d say 1:85 is pretty high. No one is saying it doesn't happen, but these two truths can coexist. It’s not men versus women. Five to six people die every minute in Nigeria from other causes. Peace.
Oh, please give me the meaning of insensitive if it’s not the part of your post that said “na you wan die from pregnancy”, that’s mockery of those that lost their lives to childbirth. Hope you know every 6/7mins a woman dies in Nigeria because of childbirth? About 100,000 women die annually due to maternal mortality, the last statistics which is 2023 states 75,000. So that statement from you is trivializes the challenges in the Nigeria maternal care. I reacted to your statement not the death sentence narrative. It’s not death sentence but in Nigeria, the risk is higher especially for hard to reach residents and the poor.

I am Chidimma, young mother of three kids in this tinubued economy. I gave birth to three kids, I did not die. Pregnancy is not a death sentence. To add to that, I am also building a successful business while still being a mom. Because, I hear some people say, marriage or motherhood hinders women from being successful. A big lie, I am doing it effortlessly. Lastly, I am not fat or obsessed. I still hit the gym even after marriage and motherhood wahala. There is no limit to what you can achieve as a married woman.

And every 7 minutes, 85 more women give birth without complications. 1:87 is a big number of chances. We recognize that childbirth can involve multiple complications or risks. But two truths can coexist, and there’s no need to push an agenda. Go with whatever rocks your boat.
