𝙎𝙚𝙡𝙖𝙢𝙖𝙩 𝘿𝙖𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙜, #RSSSupreme, to #Visakhapatnam - the City of Destiny!  🇮🇳⚓🇸🇬 Republic of Singapore Navy Ship #RSSSupreme arrived in Visakhapatnam on 21 Oct 26 for the 33rd edition of #SIMBEX2026, hosted by the #IndianNavy from 21–26 Oct 26.  The exercise commenced with an Opening Ceremony onboard #INSNilgiri and #INSKamorta. The ceremony was attended by the Chief Staff Officer (Operations) of the Eastern Naval Command, the Fleet Commander of the Republic of Singapore Navy, and other senior officers from both Navies. Exercise KONKAN-26 🇮🇳🤝🇬🇧 #BridgesofFriendship Exercise #KONKAN26 concluded off #Plymouth, #UK, following an intensive Sea Phase from 12-15 Oct 26. #IndianNavy’s stealth frigate #INSTrishul and the #RoyalNavy’s HMS Sutherland participated in the bilateral exercise. Hon'ble Vice President of India, Shri Chandrapuram Ponnusamy Radhakrishnan, presided over the commissioning ceremony, with Adm Krishna Swaminathan, #CNS, as the Chief Host. Speaking on the occasion, the Hon'ble Vice President commended India’s indigenous shipbuilding prowess and its contribution to strengthening the nation’s maritime power. #AatmanirbharBharat With over 75% indigenous content, the ship is engineered to support a wide spectrum of maritime missions, and will serve as a versatile trial and evaluation platform for maritime operations, and Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief operations.
