Finally recovered from #LondonPride2022 it was just the most perfect day filled with love, joy and support. Even in this country not everyone has the option of being free with who they are. It’s been 50 years, hopefully it won’t take 50 more to change that.

That feeling when some internet random (read: random man) DMs you to tell you “polyamory is trash” and says that I couldn’t have any idea of what it is to love, or even be capable of it… 🤣🤣🤣… incase you’re wondering… that feeling is pity and hilarity!
Ppl often discount polyamory on the basis of "success". In a world where serial monogamy is increasingly the norm, a single life-long connection is a fantasy of "success", like an unrealistic dream of that past that monogamy has always meant lifelong happiness.

I like to rephrase, “being prioritized” as feeling valued by your pals. Prioritization is a monogamous construct that’s rooted in scarcity and restricting anything outside the couple. But being valued is polyamory-friendly since we can value many different people at once!
I’ve said this before but it bares repeating:
Polygyny: 1 husband, many wives
Polyandry: 1 wife, many husbands
Polygamy: word used when speaking of both the former (gender neutral, still hetero)
These are legal terms & their definitions matter.
… & none of these are polyamory.
Let me be clear: this attack by @TowerHamletsNow on @KlubVerboten and other sex-positive spaces is fundamentally homophobic. Morality pearl clutching has always been used to attack and damage LGBTQ communities.
The self proclaimed "best of London" @TowerHamletsNow, is trying to shut down safe, sex positive spaces. This time it's @KlubVerboten.

Sex-positive spaces are not a “free for all”. There are values and rules we abide by, they’re just different from the ones you’re used to in college hookup culture or mainstream parties.
At the beginning of this year @FCorner stood in front of PhDs claiming her love & faith for & in the students of Goldsmiths to bring great change to the world. With no irony of what she's doing 2our uni & its dedicated people. Please support @GoldsmithsUCU strike fund if you can.
All of @FCorner's emails to @goldsmithsUoL students say she's "putting students first".
But every single conversation that she has with staff and unions includes the refrain... "But the banks require us to do this."
Who's interest is she really working for?
