Overall, Korean investors demand onchain markets. All trades start with converting won to stablecoins.
Korea’s biggest exchanges have had net outflow in stablecoins into offshore platforms for 18 months. This totals around $10.4B and much of this is due to trading.
@injective and @BDACSKorea are trying to create a solution. BDACS will launch its own KRW1 stablecoin on Injective. This will be a stablecoin backed by won and will be held within one of Korea’s largest banks. However, this is subject to regulatory approval.
Korean companies are using Injective. POSCO International and LG CNS have selected Injective to tokenize their trade receivables (unpaid invoices from real international deals) and include compliance controls. This has been done over $1B in assets has been tokenized on Injective, and RWA volume has passed $7.5B.
If KRW1 is approved, these deals can be settled in won.

In December 2018 @injective ’s white paper stated that they were building a decentralised exchange on Ethereum. Today Injective have re-written the white paper from scratch to reflect that they are building a chain for institutional finance. This month Injective have published the white paper for the first time ever.
Tokenization
Injective support role based access control for minting, sending, receiving and burning tokens. For example, a bank can specify that only approved purchasers can hold a token. The chain will enforce this.
Receive hooks allow rules to be added to tokens. Namespaces (groups of tokens) can be locked.
iAssets are assets that track external assets such as stocks or commodities, using oracles. They are margined using stablecoins and are not wrapped or funded. You get exposure to price movement without owning the asset.
Order book
The orderbook is fully on-chain. Orders are batch auctioned and processed in a sealed batch every block. This means there is no front running or ordering MEV as orders will be processed at the same price. No one can jump ahead of you.
Perps use time weighted funding. Initial and maintenance margin is checked. Reduce only liquidations are used. There are insurance funds.
Chain
The consensus mechanism uses BFT with over two thirds of validators committing. Finality is deterministic with around 600ms. Once a trade has been confirmed, it will remain confirmed.
EVM and WASM use the same state. Using the MultiVM Token Standard, each asset has one balance. This can be accessed using Solidity via precompiles. No double spends.
Agents & Revenue
AI agents can trade tokenized assets using MCP servers. They can sign within policy parameters and pay using x402 in USDC.
Protocol revenue is sent to the Community BuyBack every month for injective-protocol:native . There are deflationary mechanisms in place.
The maths was an important section of this white paper. They have provided formal reasoning for why the consensus threshold, batch clearing rule, oracle accounting, margin checking, access control and dynamic issuance was chosen. This is very important for a chain looking to gain trust from banks and funds.

Injective just launched its own onchain options infrastructure, opening up new ways to trade and build financial products on $INJ
Users get access to:

→ US stock indices, including the top 500 US companies and top 100 US tech companies
→ Gold, silver and crude oil markets
→ AI compute options through $SICI
Every option is fully backed by USDC, with maximum profit, maximum loss and breakeven shown before a trade is confirmed.
Developers can also use the infrastructure to build their own options exchanges and derivatives products.
It’s currently live on testnet, with access rolling out to whitelisted participants first.

The institutional expansion of $INJ in the US is taking another important step.
Since April 15, $INJ futures have been trading on Bitnomial, a CFTC-regulated exchange and clearinghouse owned by Payward, Kraken’s parent company.
Now, having crossed the six-month mark, $INJ has satisfied one of the conditions under the SEC’s generic listing standards for commodity-based ETPs.
And the timing is particularly interesting with Canary’s proposed Staked INJ ETF ($INJC) on the horizon.
While futures provide US institutions with regulated exposure to $INJ, the proposed ETF takes things further by allowing investors to hold and stake INJ through a traditional brokerage account, with staking rewards reflected in the fund’s NAV.
Two different investment vehicles, one bigger picture: making $INJ increasingly accessible to traditional financial markets.
The regulated infrastructure surrounding @injective keeps expanding.
And this is only another step in the bigger picture. 🥷

Injective has launched the Super Intelligence Compute Index ($SICI), an onchain index that tracks GPU rental prices across five NVIDIA chips used to power AI.

Private swaps on Injective now work both ways.
Nox Superswap has introduced private cross chain swaps between Injective and 37 supported chains, powered by NEAR Confidential Intents.
Users can move assets into or out of Injective without publicly exposing the full details of their swap.
Here’s how it works ↯
