Today in the Friday Wrap (register here: lp.constantcontactpages.com/…), we wrap up our series on the people who make the transfer portal "go" by providing the feedback received from #NIL agents on the P4 GMs they respect the most. Arkansas' Gaizka Crowley (@Gaizka_UofA) is just one of the former Scouting the League guests who got glowing comments from their peers across the table. In fact, we were overwhelmed by the response, and received way too much content to fit in one place. To read about the nine GMs who got the most praise; several more who were also notable; and a short list of "the next wave," based on comments from NIL reps, make sure to check out today's edition of the Wrap (goes out at 7:30 pm EDT) and today's Rep Rumblings (insidetheleague.com/reports2…).

At Inside the League, one of our focuses is shedding more light on the #NIL agents and agencies doing business in unique ways in the transfer portal. Today, we look at one such agency, @KidfromtheRock. succeedinfootball.com/2026/1…

Longtime former #NFL player and scout Cornell Green (#Cowboys & #Broncos) has passed away. He was kind enough to interview with us in December 2020. We offer our prayers and sympathies to his friends and family. mailchi.mp/0868bd9597a0/itl-…

Running a little late on this, but deepest regrets on John's passing. A friendly and engaging man, he was kind enough to be interviewed in October 2020 for the Friday Wrap: myemail.constantcontact.com/… Our prayers go out to his friends and family

Lately we've been reaching out to college GMs to get their takes on the best NIL agents. This week, we switched the conversation and asked agents about the G6 GMs they respect the most, and @CoadyKeller1 of @MiamiOHFootball was among those getting the most praise. For a look at the rest, make sure to check out today's Friday Wrap. Register here: lp.constantcontactpages.com/…

Who is this guy? It's Cal's Marshall Cherrington (@MWCherrington), and according to NIL agents, though he's not a college GM yet, he probably will be very soon. It's just part of our notes on college front offices and what we heard this week in today's post succeedinfootball.com/2026/1…

Who is Ashton Hampton (@A2hton_)? You may not know, but the word is out, at least among #NFL mock draft services that see him as a unanimous Day 1 pick. We review the first-round boards of 7 top services in today's Wrap, which comes out at 730pm EDT. Register here: lp.constantcontactpages.com/…

#NIL agents & P4 GMs don't have to be friends, but they do need a level of respect to get the job done, especially during pressure-packed negotiations. Which NIL advisors have earned the most respect from big-school GMs? We asked. Here's what they told us succeedinfootball.com/2026/1…

When players like @DrewMestemaker change teams, it makes headlines. But who are the #NIL agents helping players move in the portal, and more importantly, which are the best ones? We asked college GMs; their answers are in today's Wrap in about three hours. Register here: lp.constantcontactpages.com/…

So you're a new #NFL agent, name on the @NFLPA website, the works. Way to go. Now, reality sets in. It's a tough job, but it doesn't have to be impossible. Start with our recommendations; we make 6 points in today's post succeedinfootball.com/2026/1…

I get it. The Bucs have put their offense in the hands of a former UDFA. Tough sledding, to be sure. No reason to rip the @ShrinersBowl, which is doing a great job and improving its talent level every year. And for a good cause, I might add.

Collaboration is a good thing . . . usually. Sometimes, however, there's a line that must not be crossed. Can #NFL scouts work together without sharing secrets? We asked several Directors of College Scouting about the state of the game. Does today's generation talk too much? Director feedback is in today's Wrap. Register here: lp.constantcontactpages.com/…

#Packers GM Brian Gutekunst is an example of a former Director of College Scouting who worked his way up to the big chair in an organization. But is that emblematic of today's college director? Does the GM seat always await? We dove into current trends in today's post succeedinfootball.com/2026/0…
