The INC Kerala Twitter handle controversy is a reminder of a deeper problem within Congress. When something goes wrong, the entire blame often falls on the person running the account. First, the system turns against you, and then people within the party distance themselves from you. Your good work may go unrecognised, but one mistake can be enough for the party to abandon you. This is one reason workers and volunteers often hesitate to give their all. Things have started changing since Rahul Gandhi began saying “Daro Mat,” but there is still a long way to go. People join Congress because they believe in Rahul Gandhi and his ideas. They volunteer, work without expecting anything in return, and keep going because they believe in the larger cause. But the way Rahul Gandhi speaks about politics and the way the party functions internally can feel very different. The organisation has people with different interests, and sometimes those who work sincerely end up feeling unsupported or even targeted. A political party cannot build a movement on the selflessness of its volunteers while leaving them alone when things go wrong. If Congress wants committed workers, it must build a culture where good work is recognised, mistakes are handled fairly, and people are not abandoned when they need the organisation most. People who work for an ideology deserve more than slogans. They deserve an organisation that stands by them. @RahulGandhi @srivatsayb @vijaythottathil @vidyarthee

He is a leader who stands for what is right. Whether you are poor or privileged, a worker or a capitalist, a man or a woman, he will stand by you to protect your rights. He believes in justice. He stands against injustice, challenges the powerful, and fights for those whose voices are ignored. Because justice should never depend on how powerful or privileged you are.
Tata is being criminally destroyed, and no business leader dares say a word. How long will you stay silent? Until they own you? Indian business is not Modi and Shah's plaything. You lack courage. We don't. We will ensure justice for these crimes.

When officials start behaving like politicians and using political rhetoric, it is a cause for concern.

If you study Lula’s entire political campaign, you’ll understand how brilliantly organised it was. The real turning point comes when people don’t just vote for a political party but start convincing others to vote for it. When ordinary supporters become the party’s messengers, campaigners and grassroots workers, defeating such a movement becomes incredibly difficult. On one side stood the enormous power of capitalism, billionaires, powerful political interests and a massive propaganda ecosystem. Yet Lula took his campaign directly to the streets and connected it with ordinary people. The public didn’t just listen to his message; they became the messengers themselves. People campaigned for him because they believed in him. And there was something else: Lula connected directly with people. Even as President, he went among ordinary citizens, embraced them, listened to them and made them feel that he was one of them. That is the power of grassroots politics. Lula’s political journey is among the most remarkable of this century. Brazil’s election offers a powerful lesson: money can buy advertising, influence and visibility, but it cannot always manufacture genuine public connection.

I remember how slogans like “Modi Ka Parivaar” and “Main Chowkidar hun” were turned into campaign tools to counter the opposition and build a narrative in Modi’s favour. But this time, the narrative “Modi Kahin Nahi Jayega” didn’t gain the same traction. Instead, “Modi Ka … Bhi Jayega” is going viral. This is a significant political moment for the Congress and the entire opposition.

The same will happen in India in 2029, when Rahul Gandhi becomes Prime Minister, and he will appear just like this, with the tricolor and a copy of the Constitution.

Ma’am, I read your entire article carefully. You used the word “dynasty” so cleverly and repeatedly, and spoke the same language as the Sanghis. You cleverly wrote, “The Gandhi name is no longer enough to win elections,” trying to discredit the Gandhis just like the Sanghis do. Remember, this country belonged to Gandhi, belongs to Gandhi, and will always belong to Gandhi. However, the way your article portrayed the Congress party, the Gandhi family and the Gandhis seemed less like a balanced assessment and more like an attempt to discredit them. The Gandhis have faced years of criticism and propaganda, particularly from people who claim to stand for liberal values. But no amount of criticism or abuse can change history or erase their political legacy. Secondly, you claimed that the Congress party is merely waiting for Modi to make mistakes and is doing nothing on its own. But are you really not seeing what Congress and the opposition are doing on the ground? Have you seen how the police treated NSUI students at Jantar Mantar? Are you paying attention to the larger concerns about institutional independence, the misuse of central agencies such as the ED and CBI, and questions surrounding the Election Commission? Disagreement is welcome, but selective criticism should not be passed off as neutral analysis.
Is Rahul Gandhi a ‘failed product’ or a real leader now. My column today.
