We hear it time and again from meteorologists: forecast data often needs to be adjusted to reflect local expertise and on-the-ground reality. In this walkthrough, Cyrus Doomasia, MBA, B.Eng, PMP, CSM @InterKnowlogy's Head of Delivery, shows just how easy and intuitive that process is with iK Weather Insights — giving meteorologists full editorial control to edit, refine, and override forecast data with confidence. Your expertise, your forecast. Delivered live on air. #Meteorology #WeatherBroadcasting #BroadcastTechnology #EditorialControl #WeatherTech #DataVisualization

Last week, we celebrated an important first birthday. IK-CADDI, @InterKnowlogy 's Industrial AI agent, was launched across 9 Diamond Offshore (now Noble Drilling International Inc.) rigs around the world on August 8th, 2024. Since then, men and women offshore have been able to leverage AI to access summaries of operating standards, procedures and work instructions to help get the job done right - i.e. safely, reliably and sustainably. CADDI didn't stop there and has grown within Noble to: - Expand application across the entire operating fleet (40+ rigs) - Include summaries of observations - Build out a Requirements Bridging application saving countless hours of manual quality control labour - Create a Document Processing Hub to harmonize policies, standards and procedures across different functions - Develop a Work Instruction generation application that aligns technical inputs with standardized content and structural requirements InterKnowlogy looks forward to more collaboration with Noble to leverage CADDI in the offshore drilling space as well as other complex, highly regulated, safety-critical industries. A big thanks must go out to Patrick Janes and his Operations Performance team for trusting InterKnowlogy to deliver CADDI in the challenging offshore environment and the many people across Maintenance and Health & Safety within Noble who are challenging us to solve problems previously thought too difficult to tackle. Lastly, we wouldn't be talking about CADDI if we didn't have the talented AI and Product teams at InterKnowlogy. Great work all round. If you would like to learn more about how we helped an organization go from Zero-to-AI in 6 weeks, please reach out Michael Hartley, Managing Director Mining & Energy @InterKnowlogy.

Cyrus Doomasia, MBA, B.Eng, PMP, CSM, Head of Delivery @Interknowlogy posts "Results from EU Elections are just a week away but there are some early polling results available from Europe Elects (europeelects.eu/ep2024/) that give us some unexpected results. " @fouadyoucefi at @SVT did some interesting analysis LIVE on-air using @InterKnowlogy 's Election Insights Product on whether escalating Climate Change is going to have an impact on how many seats the Green Group will win this year in the EU Parliament. Here's a summary of his analysis... Green Parties in EU Countries have often performed better in EU Elections compared to their National Elections. In 2014, the Green EU Group won 50 out of 751 Seats (i.e. about 6.6% of Seats) and in 2019, Green EU Group won 74 out of 751 Seats (i.e. 9.8% of Seats). As Climate change crisis worsens, one would expect this trend of Green Group winning more Seats to continue. But, according to the latest EU polling, the Green EU Group is projected to lose Seats and fall back to around their 2014 levels. It seems that voters in EU are not putting climate change at top of the agenda in this year's EU Elections.
