Recently attended an in-person handheld game console hackathon. I wrote a raycaster by hand. Someone wearing a “I ❤️ slop” tshirt saw mine and said “oh I wrote a ray caster too!”. They showed me. It was a ray *tracer* and claude did all the work. The person didn’t know basic graphics terms. They couldn’t answer basic questions about how it worked, could only talk about their prompting harness. Sad how AI is ruining the craft and community for people that actually like to program and have spent their lives getting good at it.

I speak for us ALL when I say we want Embark Studios to make this game and to make it a Star Wars extraction shooter 🗣️

Finally played Skynet for the first time, and I'm kinda impressed. A highly ambicious FPS for it's time with HUGE open-world areas, that rewards exploration. The pacing is non-existent, but otherwise it's really cool and can be pretty hardcore at times. Also, FMV cutscenes! 🫶

Someone on Reddit just built a full multiplayer tank game using Claude Code. Runs in your browser. It's called Claude of Tanks. Open source. Free to play right now. This isn't a prototype. Armor deflection, guided missiles, crew positions, destructible environments, turrets flying off on impact. The whole thing. The workflow is the real story. He ran multiple Claude agents in parallel. One built the vehicles. Another reviewed screenshots for visual errors. An orchestrator verified everything before any code got committed. His key insight: text-only code reviews miss problems that are obvious in one screenshot. So every change went through a render-inspect-measure loop before shipping. A solo dev just shipped what would take a game studio months.
