You read that right, Community Choice Credit Union is now offering low-cost, monthly unlimited access healthcare plans for it's 50,000 members. CEO Josh Cook explains their crazy partnership with Hy-Vee Health Exemplar Care and how their plan will give members 24/7 access to doctors for a low monthly cost. Cook says there aren't plans to actually take your temperature and check your blood pressure while helping you on a small business or home loan (yet). Instead, he believes their first-of-a-kind partnership will have positive long-term impact on their customers and community. Health and finances are directly linked, he told us. What do you reach for if you want to wind down with a delicious cocktail, but don't want alcohol or THC? Your options are fruit juice or sparkling water. @simplyhealthyrd, co-founder of Pesche and a certified nutritionist, says that gap is an opportunity to create a new beverage product focused around positive health "moments." Pesche's husband and co-founder was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes in his twenties, which threw fuel on their inspirational fire to create a delicious, yet nutritious beverage using mushrooms, herbs, and minerals. Could they create a beverage that not only tasted good, but also aided calm, focus, or sleep? 💡 Find this show on your favorite player: iowapodcast.com/taylor-grass… ⚖️ Get guidance from Dentons Davis Brown: dentons.com/en/dentons-davis… 🐖 Get a free $30 gift card from Jethro's BBQ: iowapodcast.com/jethrosbbq

They Tore Down @Dave_Bushaw 's Middle School for a Dollar Tree. Then It Closed. xitter.cf/IowaPodcast/status/211…
Replying to @Dave_Bushaw
@Dave_Bushaw is the first "no party" candidate in Iowa, and perhaps in US History and that brand rings true. He's pro 2nd amendment, wants gun safety in schools, but is also pro-single payer healthcare. Bushaw's views are varied and it's clear he's not beholden to any particular party. Bushaw discusses his view on the "right to work scam," corrects claims he is pro mandatory military service, and defends single-payer healthcare from an economic perspective and not the usual "human right" speech. 💡 Find this show on your favorite player: iowapodcast.com/dave-bushaw/ 🐖 Get a free $30 gift card from Jethro's BBQ: iowapodcast.com/jethrosbbq

Iowa State Treasurer Candidate @NorwoodJohn explains his IPERS concerns, discusses the problems with Iowa officials selecting lowest-bidders on state projects, and shares how he'd pull all state funds from national banks into Iowa banks. Despite Iowa Republicans being clear about supporting IPERS with no intention to change it, Norwood shares why he is still concerned. He also explains the economics behind moving 2.5 billion dollars of state funds into Iowa banks, he says even if the investment returns are lower, the overall state economic impact is worth it. 💡 Find this show on your favorite player: iowapodcast.com/john-norwood ⚖️ Hurt at work?
