Good bye and, as they say, thank you for all of the fish. Europe doesn't want more fascists again -- maga or mega. Staying here feels too much like an endorsement. You can find IrishCycle elsewhere.

This is what high quality cycle lanes enable! Supporting these important commuters on their daily journeys. The network needs to continue to grow. 😊 @D12BikeBus @sdublincoco @DubCityCouncil @NTAActiveTravel

During summer if I post a video of #Cycleway4 often the football fans and the anti-active travel brigade will retort with comments along the lines of wait until it is wet and freezing in January. Well, here it is and it seems the cyclists using the cycle lane outnumber the cars.

Cork has a deep cycling history! From the 1930s bike boom to the wartime fuel rationing years, cycling was once the go-to mode of transport for all ages and social classes. Can it reclaim its place in the city? Find out more! cyclingcities.info/your-city… @IrishCycle @cyclistie

I love this idea that folks getting around on $500 bicycles are “a middle-class pressure group” while people getting around in $50,000 motor vehicles are… what, salt-of -the-earth working-class stiffs?
The Guardian has long been a passive comms conduit for the cycling lobby, a middle-class pressure group demanding public funds to facilitate its private transport lifestyle choice. It's quite extraordinary. #theguardian

Hallelujah! A fresh surface is a lovely early Christmas present for those in our community who use the Royal Canal towpath towards Broombridge! No more playing hopscotch between flooded potholes!

It's hard to get me to shut up about our family cargo bike- so I was delighted to write an article about it for @IrishCycle I really believe that cargo bikes are the key to enabling the active travel shift we so badly need. And they're so much fun! irishcycle.com/2024/12/18/a-…

Just some regular traffic on a +0°C day with freezing wet drizzle and freezing fog on a pretty car-centric semi-industrial area in Oulu, Finland today. #MeanwhileInOulu #Oulu

Queue for taxis are insane and the busses are all full, so thank god we spent a few bob on cycles lanes. If we could just extend @BleeperActive and @MobyMove a little more we’d be laughing - at least along the entire C2CC. @DublinCommuters

This video is for @fordnation, @PrabSarkaria and all others saying bike lanes "stop emerg. vehicles from getting to their destination". They *allow* emergency vehicles to get to their destination, as seen here on Adelaide. They were designed with emergency services in mind.
