Scott Parker made his feelings very clear in his first game in charge.
A source has revealed that Parker went absolutely “ballistic” at half-time, delivering a furious dressing-room message to several players.
His warning was clear: if certain players don’t start putting in the effort and running harder for the team, they could be looking at the end of their West Ham careers.
Parker has wasted no time making it clear that standards and commitment are non-negotiable.
Straight back in starting lineup⚒️👍👀
🚨 Soungoutou Magassa’s continued exclusion was arguably the decision that really turned the players against Nuno.
Several senior members of the squad, including Jarrod Bowen, are understood to have raised concerns directly with Nuno over the lack of a recognised defensive midfielder in the team.
Despite those conversations, Nuno chose to ignore the wider feeling within the dressing room.
Magassa is also understood to be a very popular figure among his teammates. Some players became increasingly frustrated, believing Nuno was stalling the youngster’s development by repeatedly overlooking him, leaving him out of the picture and seemingly ignoring him during training sessions and team talks.
It became about more than just team selection. The feeling among certain players was that Nuno was failing both the team and one of their own.

🚨 Nils Koppen was hugely influential in the decision to sack Nuno.
Koppen is understood to have been left bewildered by several of Nuno’s tactical decisions, particularly how he has utilised some of the players brought in during the summer.
Arne Engels is a major example. Koppen reportedly feels he is being deployed far too deep and is nowhere near fulfilling his potential.
Morato is another. He was signed with the intention of partnering Mavropanos at centre-back, yet has spent the season playing out of position on the left side of the defence.
The decision to use Kante as a striker also raised serious questions, leaving both Koppen and several players confused by the tactical approach, particularly with two recognised strikers being left out to accommodate the system.
There was growing frustration behind the scenes over how the squad was being utilised
Parker had a great working relationship with Alphonse Areola.
Many fans have been calling for his return and it now becomes very likely we see this….
Wow….
After an EXPLOSIVE meeting. The board have parted ways with Nuno.
This was NEVER the intention at the beginning of the week. Nuno’s thinking not aligned with any of the board. He is gone.
Kyle Walker-Peters’ injury is worse than initially feared.
The defender suffered a muscle strain and was assessed today, with early indications suggesting he could be sidelined for 5–6 weeks.
Another significant blow for Nuno.
🚨 MORE: The hierarchy are also understood to be less than impressed with some of this summer’s recruitment.
Adama Bairo has seriously struggled to contribute and has reportedly failed to show anywhere near enough in training. Fully expect this loan to be terminated in January.
There is also disappointment over the impact of Nuno’s key targets, Engels and Solomon, with the club expecting considerably more from both.
This is adding further pressure on Nuno, with questions now being asked about both performances and recruitment.
🚨 BREAKING: West Ham board hold meeting amid growing concerns over performances.
All staff have reportedly been called into a meeting today, with the board understood to be “deeply concerned” by the team’s lack of ideas when chasing games and the style of football displayed in recent weeks.
However, Nuno’s position remains 100% safe for now. Any potential managerial change is understood to be unlikely before the New Year at the earliest.
The club have invested heavily in Nuno’s recruitment, including Pablo, Engels and Solomon, and there is a feeling that changing manager now could create further disruption.
West Ham have made initial contact over Jadon Sancho’s representatives, with first-round negotiations underway..
Bad news regarding Mavropanos injury incoming.
The first indications look like 6-8 weeks out, but it could be worse.
West Ham will categorically NOT be signing a goalkeeper this January.
There is an option to bring Alphonse Areola back in if required, but Mads Hermansen remains the club’s No.1.
No plans to enter the market for a new goalkeeper.
There is serious behind the scenes conversations being had today.
The club are NOT considering replacing Nuno yet, however there is a real realisation that getting out of this league may not be as easy as it first seemed.
Reinforcement targets for January have already been set out. With a left back, striker and centre half the key areas identified.
I expect at least 3 signings in January, with 2-3 leaving potentially on loan.
Mexican film producer Juan José López Ordóñez has publicly come forward claiming he was kidnapped in Mexico City on 3 November 2024.
