This 117-year-old autochrome is really rather magical, looking just as much like an oil painting as it does a photograph. I love the quality of the light in it.
It was taken by Carl Christian Heinrich KΓΌhn in 1907 and depicts 3 of his children: Lotte, Hans & Walter.

That's cause the personal flerfspective sphere of vision from the camera is moving. It makes the ground under the train appear to move while the non rotating train stays still but the we know it's flat because the train tracks are parallel.
