The mysterious red glow were the clusters of Chinese fishing vessels using Red LED Lights to hunt giant squids.

Over the past few decades, the Chinese distant water fishing fleet has become the world’s largest and ranks first in the prevalence of illegal fishing by fishing countries. Its focus on squid fishing is a recent phenomenon, driven by the decline of finfish species.

Every human being has the right to live in freedom, dignity, and peace—and Tibetans are no exception.
China never wants peace; it wants nations to bow to its dictates. If it truly wants peace, why can’t it let Taiwan, Japan, the Philippines, Bhutan, and India live freely without threatening their borders, sovereignty and surrounding waters?
China’s occupation of Tibet was no endpoint. From renaming Indian territories to pressuring Bhutan and expanding its influence in Nepal, Beijing’s ambitions threaten South Asia. If neighbours stay divided, China’s aggression will only grow. United resistance is essential.
Every nation and every people deserve to live in freedom, protect their identity, and shape their own future without fear of China’s aggression or anyone else’s domination.

🇨🇳🇺🇸 China says a U.S. warship “illegally intruded” near a disputed reef in the South China Sea early this morning.
The PLA Navy says it tracked the USS Charleston near Sabina Shoal in the Spratly Islands, and warned that its forces “remain on high alert at all times.”
Beijing claims “indisputable sovereignty” over the area.
The Philippines would beg to differ, since the shoal sits about 140 km off its island of Palawan, well inside its own exclusive economic zone.
Washington calls these freedom of navigation patrols, Beijing calls them trespassing, and the Philippines just wants everyone to remember whose backyard this actually is.
