Indian footballers are sadly the biggest snowflakes. It genuinely pains us that players are quick to call out fans for not turning up or demand support, but cannot handle one bit of genuine criticism when it comes their way. Prabir’s reaction to @7negiashish calling out Ashique, making it about disrespecting the player instead of addressing the actual criticism, is so unwarranted. Ashish has done nothing but genuine work for Indian football over the last few years, and players ganging up against a reporter, acting like an IT-cell over criticism they don't like is embarrassing. This page was blocked by the club’s ex-captain over genuine criticism of missed chances last season that eventually cost us the league, completing ignoring the genuine admiration this page had for @lzchhangte7 Now you have players like @RahulBheke reposting Prabir’s reel calling reporters a “C**tiyon ki toli”, while Abneet Bharati says you can’t speak about them if you can’t beat them 1v1. The level of whataboutery is laughable. You guys are playing at the highest level. You are old enough to understand what to read, what not to read and what to simply ignore. Everyone loves comparing football with cricket, but look at the vile abuse, rape threats and death threats cricketers face. They still have to get on with their game. Indian football already has such a small and niche audience. The last thing we need is players trying to gang up against reporters over criticism that is factual, even if you don't like hearing it. If you want people to praise you when you perform well, you have to accept criticism when you don't. Disagreeing with someone's opinion doesn't mean they've disrespected you. Focus on improving your game instead of giving so much attention to things that don't require it. And please, get better media training. #IndianFootball

Mumbai Football Arena is getting ready to host MLBx Mumbai on October 24, featuring prominent stars, and live performances. @MumbaiCityFC play their first game at the MFA a week later against Sporting Club Delhi. The pitch has been maintained exceptionally well ahead of the event, unlike last season when it was in poor condition after months of disuse and inadequate maintenance by the local authorities. The branding on the roof and the VIP stand visible here are expected to be removed after the event. Mumbai City are likely to revert to a smaller VIP stand, thereby not making the tickets available to fans, as they had done until 24/25 season, owing to cost constraints, along with having no branding across the stands. #AamchiCity #TheIslanders #mumbaicityfc #MGISL13 #ISL

🗣️Manolo on making Akash captain: “In Spain, being the captain or not is not very important. Here, it seems that if you wear the armband, you are like the boss. It is simply a requirement that one player has to be the captain. We decided on the captains together with the players and the staff, and Akash, obviously, was with me when he was 18 at Hyderabad for three seasons. I know him very well, and he has the personality to be the captain” #AamchiCity #TheIslanders #KBFCMCFC khelnow.com/football/manolo-…

🚨 Injury Update Manolo Marquez confirmed in the pre-match press conference that Vikram will be out for a long period due to a serious injury, with a possible return towards the latter stages of the ISL season. “Wilmar too has a muscle problem in his hamstring and will not be available for this game. He will be out for a few games,” the Mumbai City FC head coach added. #KBFCMCFC #AamchiCity #TheIslanders #MGISL13
