Prior to #Isles tilt vs Dallas provided some insights based on past observations, below is the pre-scout and examples of how maintaining back line patience is necessary vs teams proficient at using low support to spring their speed game Here are a couple examples of Isles allowing Dallas to generate neutral zone speed from forwards being too parallel to each other instead of layered (referenced below in real time), along with D pinching with little back pressure due to lack of focus

That sequence 5 minutes into 1st so why you have to let F1/F2 complete their back track before backline, including F3 - commit to step up. Wait for puck to be played beyond hashmarks before committing to backline step up.

Can someone hit Rantanen if this is the score

Robertson scores on a breakaway to probably put this game away. Little bit of cherry picking as Robertson got behind DeAngelo and Pelech. #Isles trail 3-5 and have played pretty bad tonight despite having three goals

#Isles to the PP. Ondrej Palat's resilience draws the minor. Let's get one here

Heineman does the dirty work, and Duclair makes a beautiful pass to Brayden Schenn for the finish!!! Third time tonight... #Isles find the equalizer. We are all tied up 3-3.

Great play by Pageau. They'll skate 4-on-4 and the #Isles get a much needed kill

#Isles somehow don't score, then Seguin scores on a 2-on-1... thought Stanley played that as best he can, nice shot to beat Sorokin. 1-0, Dallas

We鈥檒l see if the #NHLBruins can maintain their level of play, but it鈥檚 becoming a cool story for one reason to me: Analytics hate them and project them to suck two years in a row, and they are just still solid. It鈥檚 the 2nd straight year it鈥檚 working. Something to monitor!
