From where once sat Legna, before that was Mi Amore and before that was Fleet Street Kitchen, will emerge new food & wellness spot, OMNOM.
The Islington-born vegetarian and vegan restaurant-slash-charity-slash-cultural hub — opens its second UK this November, on Fleet Street, near Opheem.
Twice the size of the London OG, OMNOM Brum will mix Indian food with live mantra music, yoga sessions, meditation and comedy nights.
Expect a vast, open-plan restaurant with space for 150 diners, a big ol' conservatory, bar, and a low-seating area kitted out with handmade Indian cushions.

Great to meet @RichParkerLab @WestMids_CA @WestMidsFire and @BhamCityCouncil yesterday to discuss the Local Remediation Acceleration Plan. Leaseholders and residents must be placed at the heart of remediation. @AngelaRayner @AlexJJNorris @EOCS_Official wmca.org.uk/what-we-do/housi…

If you are or have been a volunteer working on Birmingham's canals we thank you. The city can make so much of its canals as proved by our #LookUpBirmingham campaign but it needs people to help. Coming soon in our interactive map, canals take pride of place. Photo @ikonic_exposure

High-rise buildings covered in dangerous cladding, under the responsibility of the government, will be fixed by 2029.
Deputy Prime Minister Angela Rayner will say today that 'decisive action' is being taken to accelerate work to make thousands of homes safe and to punish private freeholders who don't act fast.
@NityaGRajan reports.

“It doesn’t look like there’s any oversight, you’ve got too many funding schemes rather than a properly joined-up approach. It just looks like they’ve just added further layers of bureaucracy, it’s all still too vague.”
Is this "change", @AngelaRayner?

@BhamCityCouncil took over the responsibility for maintenance and cleaning on 19th February 2018. They have previously repaired some of the decking. Suspect that more repairs are required? @JQBID are investigating and @IslingtonGates are liaising with council.

Dear @michaelgove
Will this week be the week EXISTING leaseholders find out if you are going to reduce their Ground Rent to A Peppercorn?
If Ground Rent is wrong for the future it was wrong for the past
This government MUST "Be on the right side of Justice"
Retweet if agree
ALT Enough is Enough. This government have an opportunity here to "Do the right thing". The ONLY way they are going to do this is by BOLD action in favor of Leaseholders. This system is "Rotten to the core". We all know it. Now is the time to do something about it !!!!!

As you know @michaelgove housing came under the remit of the WM Mayor in Feb 24
All these homes you rant on so much about had nothing to do with WM Mayor
If you say housing was under @andy4wm 2020 why is the #cladding #buildingsafetycrisis in WM not sorted?
