You look at the best 433 teams like 24-Present PSG, 15-18 Madrid, Pep's Barca... they all have these long-legged runners in attack.
PSG potentially less so but they just use their advantageous circumstances of being able to rest their starters to dominate 2nd balls which is why they opt for 3 mids, also allows them to maintain fluidity in attack if progression is so random.
4231 is the way with this Chelsea side consisting of Pedro, Rogers, and Estevao as main-stays in attack.
Such a sad case cause he just keeps getting worse.
Same issue Enzo has, trained like a bodybuilder to put on more muscle mass has completely ruined his abilities. He wouldn’t make it to this level if this was the player that was trying to establish himself. Can’t cover ground, treats the ball like a bomb under an ounce of pressure, can’t create separation, just does the basics well but could’ve been so much more.
I encourage everyone to actually watch comps of his when Chelsea signed him. Completely different player, all-round midfielder that was nimble and excellent in tight spaces, could carry.
Rogers is one of the best footballers in the final 3rd.
