The Embassy of Israel in Pretoria, through @MASHAVisrael, and @MCTC MASHAV, hosted a Women’s Leadership & Community Development workshop from 19–23 October in Port Edward, bringing together 32 South African women from diverse proffesional backgrounds, including traditional leaders and professionals, to share knowledge, strengthen leadership and explore opportunities for community development and empowerment.
The workshop therefore provided a platform for strengthening people-to-people engagement and connection. We wish success to these powerful women and look forward to see their initiatives become a reality 🇮🇱🇿🇦.
Israelis argue about everything. Politics, religion, football, even hummus.
But next week, when election day comes, every citizen over the age of 18; Jew, Muslim, Christian, Druze and others gets one vote.
Even the ones who are clearly wrong about hummus. 🇮🇱
Three years after October 7, over 1,000 Christians from around the world stood at the Nova massacre site.
United by faith, they came to honor the lives lost, pray for Israel, and remind its people that they are not alone.
Together, they raised their voices in faith, love, and solidarity:
Am Israel Chai. 🇮🇱✝️❤️

Today, Israeli diplomats serving overseas took part in the voting process, exercising their democratic right and reaffirming their commitment to Israel’s democratic values.
Deputy Ambassador @feder_hen led other diplomats serving @IsraelinSA in the voting process.
The exercise reflects a fundamental principle: Israeli democracy extends beyond its borders, ensuring that Israel’s representatives abroad can participate in shaping the country’s future.
On Tuesday, 27 October 2026, Israelis will head to the polls to elect the 26th Knesset.
They tried to take down NAZA: The Real Story. They failed.
This morning, the Israeli documentary production was temporarily taken offline following a coordinated campaign by radical Islamist groups.
Apparently, exposing what happened in Gaza and backing it up with evidence was a little too inconvenient.
Unfortunately for them, the film is now back online.

Three years after October 7, 2023, it still feels like it happened yesterday, or it was just a nightmare we needed to wake up from and were never able to.
October 7 deserves neither simplification nor silence.
It deserves remembrance.
It deserves the telling of survivors' stories.
It deserves recognition of the families who continue to grieve.
And it deserves a commitment to a future in which Jewish children can live openly and safely, in Israel and throughout the world, without fear that their identity makes them legitimate targets.

Three years since the October 7 massacre.
Behind every name is a life, a family, and an empty place that can never be filled.
We remember each and every one. 🕯️
May their memories forever be a blessing.

Hamas really said “we’ll document this ourselves” and the internet still said “citation needed.”

At 6:29 a.m. on October 7, 2023, Palestinian Hamas terrorists invaded Israel.
They stormed communities, murdered families in their homes, raped, burned and kidnapped.
Three years on, Israel remembers the victims and the barbarity of Palestinian jihadist terrorism.
We will never forget.

Never Again.
Three years later, October 7, 2023 is still with us.
Every name. Every empty chair. Every life stolen by Hamas.
We remember. Always.
Am Yisrael Chai. 🇮🇱

Sukkot is here! 🌿🍋✨
For seven days, Jews in Israel and around the world celebrate by spending time in a sukkah - a temporary outdoor structure that reminds us of the Israelites’ journey through the desert after leaving Egypt.
We eat there, welcome guests, spend time with family and friends, and celebrate together. 💙
Chag Sukkot Sameach from Israel! 🇮🇱
