By using @AppLayerLabs special precompiles (available from Solidity contracts), you can derive safe randomness for your contracts! This offers a superior experience compared to other VRFs, as you don't have to wait for it to be filled! It is a simple as calling another contract.

Designing novel BFT consensus is a blast, until you realize that there are so many edge cases that it feels like you are on a roller coaster to insanity. 🤪 It’s all fun and giggles until your code decides to play hide and seek with bugs!
I'm going insane. We want to update to GCC 14 to take advantage of BitInt but now a segfault is happening under very specific conditions in one of our dependencies.
Spent time debugging this only to reach the strangest conclusion: A compiler bug?!?! Maybe, further debug needed.
Hey dev, do you want to loop an ordered array in order to make a decentralized orderbook exchange? While in Solidity its prohibitively expensive to do such thing, you can easily achieve this functionality in @AppLayerLabs
At ETH Denver, we at @AppLayerLabs benchmarked ERC721 minting in our EVM and C++ implementations. After further development, we've achieved nearly 10x C++ speed and 2x EVM performance for full state transitions. 0.35/s, 2M mints/s theoretically? Lets see what irl data can show 🪨
I've updated the benchmark to the current code (underwent multiple refactors for improved performance since last year).
Now, in @AppLayerLabs BDK, a UniswapV2 swap can be completed in a single microsecond instead of 3.5, an over 3x speed improvement...
0.2 microseconds for a full state transition of an ERC20 transfer...
Is that fast enough for you? 🤔
