Tough day today with the layoffs. Thankfully I'm safe, but man it sucks losing so many good people.

I'm this 🤏 close to cancelling my $200 Codex sub and buying another Claude Code sub instead. I'll never buy the $500 one because it's the "old" $200 sub for double the price. Codex was my go-to thanks to how versatile it is with Github code reviews etc. Not anymore.

Don't you find it incredible how good LLMs have gotten at writing code, yet how poor their English writing skills remain?

This is how you win in business. I'm a nobody here, yet he reached out, engaged and listened to my feedback. Founder mode FTW. Bullish on @TigrisData

Thanks for trying it out. It would be great if you could share over DM what you are seeing

Acid Jazz from the 90s is still goated for engineering work. Nothing tops it. And the best artists are Japanese!

In the AI age, large companies like Meta can sweep up all the cool grassroot work not in weeks -- but days.
🚨 side project alert 🚨 Announcing Muse Gadgets, an open source ESP32 firmware and Linux sdk so that you can make hardware devices that work with Muse. Grab an API token from gadgets.muse.ai and point your favorite coding agent at the github repo to build your own peripherals for Muse.

X is the best place for anyone who builds. This is the real social network for builders. Insane talent density.

Man I thought I was so smart moving from S3 to R2 to save on those egress costs. Little did I know that speeds would be 50x slower and support is "read the docs" or "ask ai" 🥲

I'm out of allowance. Decision -- 1. Upgrade Codex to the $500 plan, get 25x usage OR 2. Buy 2x $200 Claude Max plan @ 20x each, with $100 to spare 🤔

ngl i'm pretty annoyed with the subscription allowance changes. I don't care about dot.

'Launch early and launch often' crowd - how do you do that without being banned everywhere or alienating everyone around you? Maybe that's the price we all have to pay if we want to be successful.

Before AI was a thing, people used to debate whether engineers should roll their own auth or not. Wild times.
