One thing the Toronto mayoral election polls didn't factor; "anti-stupidity, technology activists" who can't use their phone or computer to read "you CANNOT use your voter information card as ID" and "you CANNOT use your passport as ID, as it does not show your address."
I was just turned away from voting in Toronto's municipal election even after presenting my voting reminder card with my name and address on it, my passport, and my Ontario health card -- unacceptable
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Voter information cards and passports are explicitly not acceptable ID for Toronto municipal elections, which require one piece showing name and qualifying address; health cards are accepted only in specific qualifying forms.

Hey @TeamYouTube , my friend and colleague over at the Daily Pat @ArchiveOfPat / youtube.com/@TheDailyPat has been kicked out of the Youtube Partner Program for "Reused Content" despite the fact that they're authorized and the clips they produce are substantially transformative
Joe Davis should quickly come to his last "this is the biggest moment in his life" in his life. Please.
With /r/SurvivorPonderosa also going full /r/Survivor mode over Jelly's vote, are there any good online spaces for non-conservative fans to talk about Survivor with Survivor fans that's not a vehicle for player worship/standom?
Just came out of the theatre from "You Can See Everything," mad at how sociopaths can create a cult of personality and manipulate those around them to their whims, even during righteous indignation facing them, only for the curtain to fall for sociopaths in the podcasting space.
This is private equity, this is what it does.
Buy up businesses, run them into the ground, and rip them apart for short-term profit.
The developers at BioWare know how to run the studio. They know how to make the games we all love. They should be given the first opportunity - and the federal support - to buy it and run it themselves.
And if we want to avoid the Mass Effect effect in Canada, we should be keeping private equity out, not welcoming it in.

A certain red-shirt, black-hat streamer in all his former friend's discords until this September:
I have an AI agent that logs every negative comment someone makes about me online.
It then creates a profile of the person, maps all of their social connections, and finds all their emails.
Tomorrow morning, my AI agent will sent out an email blast to everyone's extended social network, detailing the horrible things they've said about me.
