This is probably one of the biggest issues with Twitter. The majority of the content on here is engagement bait. You can hardly tell who is being sincere or not, and this is because the most egregious and mentally ill takes make it to the top. Its depressing to see.

I dont think enough people realise that the majority of the heinous shit you see on twitter is heinous solely to garner attention. Talking about trans people, politics, race, ect while sounding like a fucking lunatic is good engagement bait. Ai is making engagement bait too easy.
