MySilo actually started with a different idea.
This is the story of how I ended up working backwards and building the foundation that became @MySiloHQ
I'll be making the trip to Chesterfield again! 😁🔺
Really enjoyed meeting people in person last time, and hopefully we'll see even more faces this time!
If you're interested in Avalanche, Web3, or just curious about what people are building, come along!
It's free and everyone is welcome.
Who else is coming? 👀
Midlands Mini Meetup part 2 is happening!
Join us in Chesterfield on Tuesday, 3 November for an evening of new connections and conversations about Web3, Avalanche and blockchain.
Whether you’re building, part of the community or just curious, everyone is welcome. You don’t need to be a Team1 member!
We’ll be joined by AI Guys, who will share how they build automations using AI.
A big thank you to @TippiklLabs for sponsoring the evening!

It’s a new week which can mean only one thing!
A new episode of Behind the Build!
For Episode 10 of @AvaxTeam1 Behind the Build, we’re joined by @LHBCrypto to hear the story behind @PharaohExchange, what they’re building and where they’re heading.
Join me, @ju3t1ng and @1rhiannonthomas on Wednesday 28th October at 9pm UK time.
Set your reminders and bring your questions. See you there!
Just added this beautiful piece by @ZardaHexx to my NFT collection! ❤️
Touched by Zarda #35
I've known Zarda for a few years now, and I've always appreciated her creativity and kindness.
Happy to finally own one of her artworks.
Avalanche has some incredible artists. We should celebrate them more often. 🔺

Make NFTs Great Again!
THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER
It's disappointing to hear you feel this way, @saharnrahimi.
I'd genuinely like to understand your perspective.
What do you think NFT platforms and their founders should do differently to earn and keep artists' trust?
Interesting conversation.
Coming from the Avalanche NFT community, I haven't really experienced this kind of gatekeeping.
Is this something common in other NFT communities, where a small number of influential collectors can determine which artists get recognised?
Genuinely curious to hear different perspectives.
Sometimes I spend more time wondering whether I should ask someone for help than actually asking.
What's the worst that can happen? They say no.
Sounds simple, right?
Still working on that one. 😅

Spooky BOOTY Doodles!
Live on @blaze_stream for a bit.
I am still sick and sound like garbage. So if you're sensitive about sick person noises, DON'T COME HERE! You've been warned.

I’m going to @KryptoCEO’s upcoming Space. Will you join too? xitter.cf/i/spaces/1oKMvNwjZwpGQ
I wonder who else spends time discovering or rediscovering NFT collections long after the mint.
I’ve been doing exactly that on @DimiFW’s AVAX NFT Timeline.
There are projects I remember, projects I missed, and others I’m discovering for the first time.
Really cool resource for Avalanche NFT history. 🔺

There are so many Avalanche NFT stories I didn’t experience firsthand, and I want to learn from the people who did.
MySilo Lens is a new weekly series where together we’ll explore Avalanche NFT collections, artists and communities through the people who were actually there.
Let’s start with @chikn_nft 🐔
If you have a memory, event or part of the story you think shouldn’t be forgotten, I’d love to hear it.
Bok Bok 🐔
MySilo Lens #001 🌾
For our first Lens, we’re going back to one of the iconic names in Avalanche NFT history: @chikn_nft. 🔺
A lot has happened around the ecosystem, and a lot of people have been part of that story.
We want to learn from the people who lived it.
What made Chikn special to you?
Was there an IRL or online Chikn event you still remember?
What part of its story should never be forgotten?
Tell us the story. 👇
Another stacked week ahead for @AvaxTeam1 UK! 🔺🇬🇧
This week, we’ve got a live @Base44 demo hosted by our very own collaborator, @HelloBenWhite!
This one’s a Team1 exclusive, but we’re already exploring a public online workshop so everyone can get involved 👀
Less friction. More building. Faster shipping.
This is @avax. We want you to SHIP FAST!

Week two of The Ascent by @AvaxTeam1, and this week's challenge was all about storytelling 🎥
From architecture to crypto. 🏛️ → ₿
Two completely different industries, one unexpected career change.
Here's how I made the switch 👇
I'm a dreamer.
I’ve always had a creative mind and liked to imagine what could be.
That's great, but there's a danger too. I can jump from one idea to the next without ever turning them into something real.
I'm learning that building something is much harder when you're only focused on the end result.
Focus matters. But so does enjoying the journey, even when things don't go as planned.
Every problem solved feels like a new achievement unlocked.
If you're a dreamer like me, start building.
Don't wait for the perfect moment. It will never come.
And if you're lucky, you'll meet some great people along the way.
While looking back at Avalanche NFT history for MySilo, I came across @AvaxTeam1’s A Trip Down Memory Lane article.
MySilo was already taking shape by then, but it reminded me just how much Avalanche NFT history is still sitting in wallets today. 🔺

One of those mornings where getting started is the hardest part.
Once you’re moving, you’re usually glad you did.
