MAGES president and CEO Makoto Asada confirmed that there are more remasters in the works. He stated that he was worried that if they didn't release KID's works now, they might never see the light of day again. He didn't care if they sold poorly because it was the only chance to do it. Following the release of "My Merry May with be," they are working on two or three more titles with some surprising titles among them. Regarding the "Mystereet" remaster, they considered not only a port, but actually completing the series based on the manuscript that Hiroyuki Kanno left behind. However, they were conflicted on whether it was right for them to arbitrarily alter a work from someone that passed away, let alone keeping it consistent. In fact, they went through several rounds of completing the script only for them to scrap it. Asada then stated the better approach is instead of forcing a conclusion to the work Kanno left behind, to create a new one within the world of "Mystereet." For example, he envisions the two Class A detectives Souma Agyou and Kaoru Yasogami meeting face-to-face, clashing and cooperating with each other.
