Honestly, Naruto and Sasuke in each other's clothes are not that bad. They just need to wear their own colors. Sasuke in orange clothes just doesn't work.

Maybe it's because Kishimoto trying to make a point that this new Boruto manga is not his. If it have the same or similar artstyle, some people might still think it's him eventhough it have another name on every cover.

Funniest part about it is Ikemoto is the only one that was ass at drawing Naruto, all the other spin offs that were drawn by other illustrators were far better. First one by Natsuo Sai and the second one by Shingo Kimura
