Back in 2017-2018, we reported that metallic iron can drive a nonenzymatic analog of the reductive Acetyl CoA pathway of CO2 fixation and parts of the reverse Krebs cycle. Now our collaborators have found that it reduces Ferredoxin when H2 is present. Check it out. – at Lixheim, France
