I swear, if English football continues this way, it will kill the passion of many players and fans.
Look at what happened in that Manchester United game. Imagine if they hadn't won that match. A referee could have disallowed a perfectly legitimate goal with an offside decision like that.
How on earth is that offside? Why was that goal ruled out?
I don't even want to revisit that game because Manchester United are already going through enough right now.
But seriously, if officiating in the Premier League continues like this, we're heading towards a bigger problem. Football should be decided by what happens on the pitch, not questionable decisions from the officials.
Dear Carrick (@carras16),
Last week I wrote that you’d go with more dignity than the people telling you.
This week they didn’t tell you anything.
They met on the Monday. The owners got on a call. Berrada, Wilcox and Vivell sat in a room at Carrington and discussed who should have your job — and while they were doing it, you drove in on the squad’s day off to watch the under-21s play Hull.
They came out of that room with your name still on the door, four other names on a list, and nothing decided.
On Thursday you stood in front of the cameras and said you didn’t need assurances from anyone. You said it twice in the same answer. Nobody says it twice unless somebody hasn’t said it to them once.
You also used the word desperate twice in that room. Once about yourself, once about Bruno. I don’t think you noticed.
Then Saturday, and for forty-five minutes, you were right. I’ll put that in writing, because I’ve spent a month putting the other thing in writing. We ran more than Chelsea. We were sharper on the break. Alonso was backing off. The only thing missing was a goal, and we had four chances to find one.
And then Chelsea came out for the second half like a team that had been spoken to, and we came out like a team that had been left alone.
That’s the part, Michael. That’s the whole thing.
Somebody went into the home dressing room at halftime and said something that changed eleven men. Fofana had been their worst player, and he came off. They stopped giving us the second ball. They scored fifty.
Whatever was said in ours, nobody came out different.
Afterwards, they asked whether there’d be a stigma in dropping into the relegation zone. You said, 'Not from me, no.'
I know what you meant. You meant you won’t let a table shame your players. But somebody at this football club has to be ashamed. Seven points from nine games. The worst start since Ron Atkinson — and he was gone by November.
And today they gave you two games. Roma, then Villa, and then they’ll reassess.
Not backed. Not sacked. Scheduled.
That isn’t a club deciding your future. That’s a club booking a slot to think about it, with the same four names on the same list they had eight days ago.
You deserve a yes or a no.
They’ve given you a fortnight.
See you Wednesday.

I need to start cooking at home to save money" is the biggest financial lie we tell ourselves.
You will go to the market, buy ingredients that cost a fortune, cook a meal that finishes in two business days, and end up ordering food again anyway. The math is never mathing.

Lionel Messi is just 48 goals behind Cristiano Ronaldo, despite playing 160 fewer matches
Whoever started the Cristiano Ronaldo is the greatest goal scorer gimmick needs to be found and arrested.

There are many reasons behind Zlatan Ibrahimović’s apparent obsession with Cristiano Ronaldo. Even in 2026, I genuinely don’t understand why people still pay attention to everything he says or react to it so seriously.
If you look at it from Zlatan’s perspective, what he does regarding Ronaldo is actually very little. I repeat, very little, almost insignificant. In fact, he should have had much more reason to be frustrated with Ronaldo, to the point of thinking about him day and night.
When Zlatan joined Barcelona, he eventually left after being pushed out, and in that very season Barcelona went on to win the Champions League. The same thing happened at Inter Milan. José Mourinho once showed the whole world that no matter how much Zlatan called himself a “lion” with a microphone in hand, he was nothing more than a small fish when it came to delivering on the biggest stage. The man who loved portraying himself as a modern-day savage was completely exposed by Mourinho on the pitch.
Now let’s move to Ronaldo’s side. To be honest, Ibrahimović doesn’t even belong in the same conversation as Cristiano Ronaldo. When Zlatan joined AC Milan’s star-studded squad, Ronaldo scored a stunning free-kick right over his head. The celebrations were wild, while Zlatan could only watch with his head down. At PSG, despite all the hype, he still couldn’t achieve what Ronaldo consistently did in the Champions League.
Throughout his career, both at club and international level, the biggest obstacle between Zlatan and some of football’s greatest achievements was Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro. Today, even Sweden’s young talents are scoring goals at World Cups, while Zlatan never managed to leave a meaningful mark on the tournament during his prime. And who denied him a place at the 2014 World Cup? Cristiano Ronaldo.
People wonder why there seems to be so much obsession. Yet apart from talking about his own greatness, what exactly are Zlatan’s defining achievements? Even the famous bicycle kick that brought him global attention was later overshadowed by Ronaldo, who produced an iconic bicycle kick on the Champions League stage, a goal football fans will never forget.
So where does that leave Zlatan?
Just like in this picture, I wouldn’t place Ibrahimović alongside Ronaldo. He simply hasn’t earned that status. A picture of Pepe’s tackle would probably be more fitting. That’s about where he belongs based on his footballing level.
By taking shots at Ronaldo, Zlatan has managed to attract a certain fanbase to his side. Deep down, even he knows that based purely on his career achievements, he wouldn’t have nearly as much attention otherwise.

It takes people with God giving special talents that have this, anybody you come across him having this just make sure you treat them well

Javier Tebas talk too much, as a President of big league like Laliga he should stop granting Interviews any how just to chase clout with Real Madrid.
The whole President coming out and said Mbappe penalty wasn't a penalty? You can never find any Premier League official doing unprofessional behavior.
At this point, I think Tebas should officially run for Barça’s presidency. He defends Barça more than Laporta and is nothing but a pet of Laporta who licks Laporta’s feet all day long.
DISGUSTING!! A league president should be NEUTRAL and not someone’s pet dog 🐶
