26 septembre 2026 | Dans la continuité de son agenda à New York, la Première Ministre, Cheffe du Gouvernement, Judith Suminwa Tuluka, a reçu Johan Borgstam, Représentant spécial de l’Union européenne pour la région des Grands Lacs, pour des échanges consacrés à la situation sécuritaire et humanitaire dans l’Est de la République démocratique du Congo.
Les discussions ont notamment porté sur :
• la nécessité de faciliter et sécuriser l’accès humanitaire aux populations affectées par le conflit
• la poursuite de la fourniture des services essentiels dans les zones touchées
• la préparation d’une mission prévue en novembre, avec différentes agences, dans plusieurs villes de la RDC et de la sous-région
• la poursuite des concertations sur la situation sécuritaire et humanitaire dans l’Est du pays
La Cheffe du Gouvernement a insisté sur la nécessité de garantir aux populations affectées un accès sûr, effectif et continu à l’aide humanitaire et aux services essentiels.
