The goods.
My second highlighted game of Championship Sunday at Pitt Jamfest by (@TheHoopGroup) was a straight-up war between @SWVHustle2025 New Balance 17U and Inspire Elite. This was one of the fiercest, hardest-fought battles of the entire weekend. Every possession had weight. Every stop, every bucket, every loose ball felt like it could decide the outcome. The intensity stayed high from start to finish, fueled by relentless effort, physical defense, and clutch shot-making on both sides.
WV Hustle was down two players and still brought fight on every possession. They played with heart and toughness, refusing to let anything come easy. Inspire Elite matched that energy with purpose, playing like a team locked in on one thing only… walking out with the win. No one was backing down, and the action on the floor reflected that mindset the entire way.
Inspire Elite held a 35-30 lead at halftime after a back-and-forth first half filled with defensive stands and timely buckets. The second half only turned things up another level. Both teams traded blows, answering each other bucket for bucket and stop for stop. The pace stayed high, the physicality stayed real, and the margin stayed razor thin all the way into the closing moments.
The crowd felt it. Every possession had them buzzing. Every shot had people on edge. It came down to execution under pressure.
Tied 51-51 late, WV Hustle had opportunities but couldn’t convert, forcing them to foul. #4 @EthanRay.3 (IG) stepped to the line not once, but twice, and delivered with ice in his veins. Calm, composed, and clutch, he knocked down those free throws to seal a 56-51 victory for Inspire Elite.
Ethan led the way with 26 points, 6 rebounds, 4 steals, and 2 blocks. He controlled both ends, scoring when needed, creating disruption defensively, and stepping up in the biggest moments of the game.
WV Hustle was led by #2 @amarihelmm with 19 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 steals, attacking and competing all night long. #12 @CarsenHayle added 13 points and 4 rebounds, providing scoring support in key stretches. #3 @AshbyChadwick brought a gritty inside presence with 8 points, 10 rebounds, 2 blocks, and 1 steal, battling on the glass and protecting the paint.
This one came down to toughness, composure, and who could deliver in the final moments. Inspire Elite made the plays when it mattered most and earned every bit of that win.

Additions of Swiss-army ‘25 Miles Franklin + ‘25 deadeye shooter RJ Roche at @standrewsbball mesh with ‘24 sniper Xander Alarie + pitbull ‘26s Turk Brown, Karon Bailey. ‘24 Jayden Brown adds length, slashing as ‘24 Holden Pierre-Louis looks like a small-college priority up front – at Potomac, MD
Duke whole mob needs to come back next year. Decent season, but only league ready player is Tyrese Proctor.
