This is why I don't recommend firm's with stupid and crazy rules..
Some prop trading influencers need to hear this.
STOP PROMOTING EVERY PROP FIRM THAT OFFERS YOU A FAT AFFILIATE COMMISSION.
Seriously.
I’ve personally had terrible experiences with certain prop firms. Payout issues, questionable rules, and unnecessary obstacles when traders actually start making money.
And yet I keep seeing these same firms being promoted by huge accounts on X like they’re the best thing that ever happened to trading.
Come on 😂
Before you recommend a prop firm to thousands of followers, ask yourself:
Does this firm actually pay profitable traders?
Do they honor their own rules?
Or do they suddenly find a reason to deny payouts when someone makes serious money?
Most of this information is publicly available. It doesn’t take much effort to do some research.
Your followers are risking REAL money based on your recommendations.
A generous affiliate commission means absolutely NOTHING if the people you refer end up getting screwed.
Stop chasing commissions at the expense of your community.
YOUR REPUTATION SHOULD BE WORTH MORE THAN YOUR REFERRAL LINK.
