My proudest delight of #ghostintheruins wasn’t that all 3 nights sold out nor that the choir took 5 bows to rapturous applause last night… nor even my collaborators’ achievements… it was the tears of joy from lovely Joan Stenner, 91 who sung in Britten’s War Requiem 60 yrs ago.
