When government fears the people, there is liberty. When the people fear the government, there is tyranny. ~Unknown (often misattributed to Thomas Jefferson)

Typical.
🚨BREAKING: The Republican Women’s Caucus Fund has been unmasked as the force behind the fake Texas Transgender Student Union (TTSU). This Wyoming LLC, formed in September, flooded as many as 3 million Texas mailboxes and phones with texts and brochures just as early voting began for the midterms. Posing as a trans advocacy outfit, the materials—addressed to the children of registered voters—coached minors on seeking gender-affirming care even against parents’ wishes, pursuing emancipation, going out-of-state for hormones or surgery, and finding a “found family.” They copied branding from the real Transgender Education Network of Texas (TENT) and used a near-identical address. Legal filings named the Republican Women’s Caucus and “John Braun”—the name of a Washington state senator whose campaign treasurer, Paul Kilgore, also handles finances for the RWC Fund and PACs supporting Ken Paxton’s Senate bid against Democrat James Talarico. TTSU’s lawyer is former Paxton assistant AG Chris Hilton. TENT sued, claiming harassment, threats, and operational harm. Judge Jan Soifer ordered disclosure, rejecting free-speech secrecy claims. So, a Republican-linked group, with financial ties to Paxton-supporting PACs, mass-produced and distributed materials that impersonated a transgender student resource guide. In other words, the people who routinely accuse the transgender community of “indoctrinating” or targeting children, themselves produced and mailed the very content designed to look like that targeting—so parents would see it and react. Every Republican accusation is a confession.

You know you've hit a nerve when the bots report every one of your posts for the last three months, hoping that one of then trips the algorithm's auto-ban.

Trumpers always say they're at war with communism. Then - without any hint of irony, historical literacy, or self-awareness - they'll cheer literal communist policies just because Trump endorses them. These people are extinction-level stupid.

But remember, boys and girls, that President Obama is the elitist.
Trump: You'll be my guest at Mar a Lago. The problem is that for $5000, the most you'll be able to buy is a hamburger and maybe a small dessert. I'm not even sure you could buy that. No, don't go there. That's not a good place.

Conservatives: "forcing someone to pay the penalty for something they haven’t done is also wrong." Also Conservatives: "every Muslim should be deported because of 9/11."
Liberals: “Slavery is wrong! Descendents of slaves deserve reparations for the unpaid labor of their ancestors.” Conservatives: “Slavery is definitely wrong but forcing someone to pay the penalty for something they haven’t done is also wrong.” Liberals: “Food, clothing and housing is a human right!” Conservatives: “If food, clothing and housing is a human right… that means you believe you are entitled to someone’s unpaid labor to produce those things. Does this feel familiar to you?” Liberals: “You’re a racist.” Conservatives: “You’re a spaghetti armed communist retard, and that’s why these discussions are always so fruitless.”

Donald's always been jealous of other people's success.

Reminder for anyone worrying about this: armed agents at the polls is a crime, not a gray area. The law doesn’t care what uniform they’re wearing. If you see it, write down where and when, take a photo if it’s safe, and call 866-OUR-VOTE.

Epic self-own.
JD Vance makes a recommendation on who to vote for in the midterms: "Vote for the people who have solutions to lower the cost of gas, don't vote for the people who made the problem to begin with."

JD - I've got 15 free minutes before my son's hockey practice ends, so let me see how many of Trump's enrichment schemes you didn't see that I can remind you of. 1/ First one is easy: Trump has executed over 30,000 stock trades, many on inside information, netting him millions.
JD Vance: "I've not seen a single shred of evidence that Donald Trump participates or sanctions in that corruption ... I've not once seen evidence that Donald Trump has enriched himself"

So what exactly ARE El-Sayed's so-called ties to terrorism. His half-sister (raised by his mother) said his mother was a member of it in the 70s. A few things about that. 1. The Muslim Brotherhood had already denounced terrorism. 2. El-Sayed wasn't even born. 3. El-Sayed was raised by his father and step-mother since he was 3. 4. The Muslim Brotherhood wasn't even declared a terrorist organization by the US until the Trump Administration did so in January of this year. 5. The specific allegations that led to the designation only happened in the last two years. 6. The allegations haven't been proven, and the Egyptian chapter has denied them. So 50 years before these things happened, and 10 years before he was born, his mom belonged to them. If this sounds like Obama's Brother Part 2, it's because it is. This isn't about truth. It's about smuggling in racist assumptions.

OMFG! This response from @AbdulElSayed to a completely bigoted question is probably the best thing I’ve heard all year. Every bigot in America needs to listen to this three times.
