Election Day is right around the corner! Do you know where you're dropping off your ballot?
Step 1 - Find the @kcelections drop box or voting center closest to you kingcounty.gov/depts/electio….
Step 2 - Plan your trip on Metro tripplanner.kingcounty.gov/
Step 3 - Civic duty complete!
ALT A person in a red jacket is taking a picture of their ballot as they drop it off in a ballot collection box in King County. The photo is taken from above the ballot box, showcasing the herringbone brick work under the person's feet where the drop box sits. The red envelope, red jacket, and red brick create a cohesive image.
Texas House Dems responding to Gov. Abbott’s call for a special session:
“You wouldn’t call a special session for covid, for mass shootings, or for Hurricane Harvey, but you want one for voter suppression. We’re ready to have that fight.” @TMFtx #quorumbreak #txlege

Please share with friends and family in Georgia:
If you voted absentee in Georgia, please check the status of your ballot now.
If it was rejected, you have until 5pm on Friday, November 6, to fix it and make sure your vote counts.

I wrote out some thoughts on how to make this moment a real turning point to bring about real change––and pulled together some resources to help young activists sustain the momentum by channeling their energy into concrete action. medium.com/@BarackObama/how-…

When White people ask what they should say to black people show them this video. The answer is simple. Keep your eye on this White girl in the front who uses her privilege to prevent violence. Be that girl. Raise that girl.
OMG @davematthewsband talking about his plumbing story is giving me PTSD already. Our last plumber JUST left (but he wasn’t a wizard - we needed him) & we finally have our bathroom sink & washer/dryer back 🙌🏻 #PayItForwardLIVE (Following it with Grey Street was a major win!)
Watching @davematthewsband playing live online, sharing stories & urging everyone to stay in (love the M&M’s analogy) is a quarantine highlight! 🤍 Can’t believe he’s only a few miles from me!
(Thanks, Dave & @verizon!) #PayItForwardLIVE
WHAT THE FUCK @SoundersFC @MLS? I brought my brand new @swellbottle to the game empty & had to throw it in the trash? The new rule wasn’t advertised well & is just contributing to the landfill & promoting plastic. What a COMPLETELY IRRESPONSIBLE new rule. Great job guys. 👍🏻🖕🏻
“...when we use love and compassion as our guiding principles, we can create, develop and implement systems of change that are beneficial to all sentient beings and to the environment.” Joaquin Phoenix 💗💗#TheOscars #CompassionOverCruelty
Just a remarkably thoughtful speech from Joaquin Phoenix. An amazing human being. #Oscars #TheOscars
“So many people in this room have given me a second chance, and that's when we're at our best, not when we cancel each other for past mistakes."
Holy shit.
