🔥youtu.be/D5jdB6bNVcw🔥 🔥youtu.be/D5jdB6bNVcw🔥

Hey friends, if you have been enjoying my series with @stephentoub on “deep .net” then please come to this “highly technical talk” (that’s literally the title!) be sure to rate it after the session so leadership knows that highly technical talks are valuable! #msbuild
Microsoft Build starts tomorrow! Join us LIVE as @SHanselman and @StephenToub give us an unprecedented 100% LIVE demo. Zero slides, just code on the internals of #dotNET. See how the engineers use their own tools to find and fix issues. See you there: msft.it/6017YXyZH

First, read the note. Second, go to Settings > Privacy and Safety > Direct Messages > Disable Calls. You’re welcome.
audio and video calling are now available to everyone on X! who are you calling first?
Readers added context they thought people might want to know

It's 2023 and your IT team is still forcing the entire company to change their passwords every few months 🤦 PS. I work at Microsoft, and we stopped doing this nearly four years ago. Send the link below to your IT team 👇

First-class metrics support is coming across .NET 8: ➡️Inbound HTTP requests (ASP.NET Core) ⬅️Outbound HTTP requests (HttpClient) 🌏Kestrel ⚒️Routing 👮Rate limiting ⚠️Exception handling 📡SignalR 🚀gRPC (not started, but they'll be there when .NET 8 ships 😅)
.NET 8 is going to be a bombshell of a release 🔥. There are a TON of improvements but one of the things I'm most excited about is better out of the box metrics for our http and networking stack. We're also looing to ship grafana default dashboards #dotnet

Comments that explain what code is doing should be for rare cases when the code is obscure. Comments that explain why are more valuable.

The sheer amount of productive and helpful things for humanity that could be done with $44,000,000,000 is hard to fathom for almost everyone. And yet, so many will cheer this on. Billionaires should not exist.
don't worry, free speech is in the hands of these two now

Totally agree. I think it's fair to say almost every engineer I've worked with only learned the full value of simplicity after experiencing the pain and expense of complexity.

Absolutely do NOT watch this unless you both want to cringe so hard that you’ll pull a muscle in your back, and that you’ll get this stuck in your head for the rest of the day. #figma #adobe #cringe
