It was a "see Charlotte from the Blue Ridge Parkway" kind of day.
Crystal clear visibility, you could even see it with your naked eye.

A look inside the Discovery Place Nature Museum. It's clear this museum is ready to open its doors.
Will the county declare Discovery Place in default and either dramatically change plans for the building or spend millions each year trying to run it?
Or will the county demand Discovery Place repay $14.6 million and allow the museum to open?
And what happens to the otters?!

โ๏ธ Former App State coach Shawn Clark died one year ago this week.
His wife Jonelle started a foundation to get coaches to take better care of their health. 60+ teams signed up.

One year ago, we lost Shawn Clark.
This is how you should remember him as a coach.
Sending love to Jonelle, his family and my friends at App State.

It's game day, Mountaineers.
Tonight, App State will face UNC-Charlotte in Boone. And after halftime, fans may notice some familiar Grandfather Mountain landmarks on the big screen. Catch any home football game this season to see it for yourself.

Fun fact of the day. App has more 10 win seasons since 2014 than ECU does in its entire college football history.

Always room for another map commercial.
I've maintained for a few years now, if you're constantly bitching about how conference realignment, TV and the B1G/SEC have ruined the sport, and we need to get back to regionality, then your ass better be watching the Sun Belt this fall. It's the most "old school" conference we have. It's regional, and it picks new teams for football reasons, not revenue reasons.
