The original purpose of Title IX matters: Equal opportunities for women & girls in education & sports. That's why the US Dept of Ed's effort to end the "gender" nonsense around Title IX was crucial, as I wrote with @madisonfaith_m here: dailysignal.com/2026/09/28/e… 1/3

"Records of the design and passage of Title IX clearly demonstrate that its intent was to remove barriers to education opportunity that women faced." static.heritage.org/2022/But… That's why Title IX & its original intent is so important. 3/3

🚨 NEW: For the @WSJ, @Hartz_PhD and I expose the ideological takeover of the American Psychological Association. The APA is facing the possible loss of its federal accreditation authority following allegations of widespread antisemitism. But while the APA's antisemitism problem is serious, it's only a symptom of a much deeper ideological rot. The organization has become so captured by radical left-wing political activism that its commitment to scientific objectivity competence is now in serious doubt. We examined the program for this year's major APA Division 39 conference, which drew nearly 800 attendees and held 90 panels over four days. By our count, roughly 70 of the 90 panels were overtly political, and always left-wing. Topics included abolishing the family, queer anarchist psychoanalysis, dismantling gender assessment guidelines, and white supremacy. One session even concluded with a drag show. There was at least some hope that the threat of losing federal accreditation might prompt some institutional soul-searching. It didn't. Instead, APA members just elected Candice Hargons as their next president. Her campaign identifies "systemic intersectional oppression" as the profession's "common enemy" and calls for rejecting the traditional scientific notions of objectivity. Psychologists wield enormous influence over vulnerable patients, and the people seeking treatment deserve the peace of mind knowing that the care they're receiving care is evidence based and not tainted radical politics. We believe most would agree that federal accreditation should actually mean something. If the APA cannot distinguish its scientific mission from its political activism, the Education Department should reconsider whether it deserves the government's endorsement as an authority over psychological training. Huge victory for universal choice in Tennessee. A 3 judge panel at the trial court granted our two motions and dismissed the case. Opponents will appeal but final victory is one step closer. .@edchoice @BeaconTN @GovBillLee @WaltBlanksJr @shakamitchell

The Louvre is now closed because the mostly-peaceful protesters might smash IM Pei’s pyramid so they could go torch the Mona Lisa. Remember, this is all about education!
🇫🇷 Chers visiteurs, en raison d’un mouvement social étudiant, le musée est fermé pour le moment. Nous vous prions de nous excuser de la gêne occasionnée. 🌍Dear visitors, due to student strikes the museum is currently closed. We apologise for the inconvenience.

"raised prices after gaining access to federal funding" Imagine that.
Replying to @PrestonCooper93
Other explanations are less sympathetic. One school said it raised prices after gaining access to federal funding. Another openly admitted it raises tuition when Pell Grants go up.

Happy 251st birthday to the United States Navy! Since 1775, generations of sailors have served at sea and around the world, defending America. Today, we honor the brave men and women who have worn the uniform and those who continue to stand the watch.
