Wherever Canadians go, we believe there is always room for another friend at the table — and that’s a tradition worth keeping. Happy 81st birthday to the United Nations.

Corporal Nathan Cirillo stood watch at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Warrant Officer Patrice Vincent served Canada with the same devotion and sense of duty. Today, we stand watch over their memory. Canada will always remember their service and sacrifice. Lest we forget.
