Stephanie Mills talks about Michael Jackson offering his music catalog to Minister Louis Farrakhan, and shares her thoughts on Prince writing "slave" on his face to protest Warner Bros:
Shannon: Is it true Michael wanted Farrakhan to have his catalogue?
Stephanie: Absolutely, he wanted Pops [Louis Farrakhan] to have his catalogue, and Pops would not take it.
Shannon: Prince, he wrote "slave" on his face... when you saw this, what did you remember about that time?
Stephanie: I felt really proud of Prince because he was speaking up. How can you be in this industry and know and see what goes on and not say anything about it?

Racism still exists, but CLASSISM is the bigger conversation we need to be having right now. The rich are getting richer, the middle class is getting wiped out, and working people of EVERY race are struggling to survive. Y’all so busy fighting over race that you’re overlooking the economic divide. Different races, same struggle, same people getting rich off our backs.

Iman Shumpert goes off on anyone calling for the NBA to shorten its 82 game season, arguing that players should focus on conditioning and changing how they play instead of reducing the number of games.
Shumpert points to legends like Michael Jordan, Karl Malone, John Stockton and Gary Payton, who played 82 game seasons, questioning why today’s players need fewer games. He believes the league should bring back more physical basketball, with players attacking the post, taking midrange shots, playing through contact and cutting down on flopping and exaggerated moves.
He also questions how much extra time players would actually gain from shortening the season, arguing that changing the way the game is played may be a better solution to the injury problem.
