My favorite thing about this photo has always been...there is 5 seconds left and this ball is bouncing into the TT backcourt...the game is OVER and everyone in this picture knows it...except Delonte, who is hustling for the loose ball, which he ultimately grabs as time expires 😤
🏀OTD in 2004, Jameer Nelson scored 24 points; Delonte West had 15 points, 8 assists, and 7 rebounds; and Pat Carroll contributed 14 points as Saint Joseph’s advanced to the Sweet 16 with a 70-65 victory over Bob Knight and Texas Tech in Buffalo.

The difference between the Big Three and anybody else is that when it came time to take over from the previous generation, they CRUSHED them into retirement.
Sinner and even Alcaraz have been allowing Djokovic to polish off his career and win everything he was missing. Even Rafa had winning records before he hung up his racket.
Nobody will EVER come close to these guys.

Well-deserved. His career ended far too early thanks to that back injury. Forever our captain!
The Mets plan to retire David Wright's No. 5 and induct him into their team Hall of Fame on July 19, per @AnthonyDiComo
