I’m interrupting my Twitter break for an announcement: from 1 September I’ll be the academic director of the Amsterdam Institute for Social Science Research @UvA_AISSR at the UvA. I’m excited (and slightly spooked).
Colleagues and friends have expressed surprise that I’m taking on an administrative role. And honestly I didn’t plan to do so. But I decided to apply because the AISSR is special to me.
