Staff at our 5 sites learned more about BMTs at a training session last week so we can provide informed & compassionate care to @JacesJarsofHope & other BMT kids/families. 🩸We're proud to offer them a warm & welcoming home-away-from-home after discharge. ❤️🏠❤️

P.J. Fleck on @JacesJarsofHope's bone marrow transplant being engrafted, @mhfvpediatrics and @RMHUpperMidwest: We gave out some game balls to three of our players that just became Dads. Winning is important and fun, but nothing is better than being a parent. It’s an amazing moment, but one of the worst moments you can have is spending time in a children’s hospital with your child. That changes your life forever. On the other end of that, it’s horrific when you watch young kids go through sicknesses. These are kids. At the end of the day, there’s kids who are struggling and fighting and that’s who we play for. Jace has been somebody that we’ve known for a very long time, his fight inspires our football team. His grace and humility, for a very young person, I wish that adults could learn lessons from him. Jace is an inspiration to all of us, he’s a fighter, his Mom’s a fighter.
