Who wants a tax revolt?

South Africans, at what point do we admit that we have normalised failure?
How do we accept a system where citizens can lose up to 41% of their salaries to tax, yet corruption continues to thrive, rural roads remain undrivable, municipalities collapse, and local councillors operate with little to no accountability?
Taxation without visible service delivery is not governance; it is betrayal.
This country does not lack money. It lacks ethical leadership, consequence management, and political will. We cannot keep comparing ourselves to countries like Qatar and pretending the difference is luck. The difference is leadership, planning, discipline and accountability.
South Africa deserves a government that respects every rand taken from its people. The amount of tax we are paying is just insane😭💔

This is unbelievable!
The DA wants to turn Cape Town into a "10 Million population Mega City!"
youtube.com/watch?v=WyJHe5qB…
They boast about using 75% of Cape Town tax payers money to provide free and subsidised services to the poor and unemployed.
This has created an economic incentive for the whole of Africa to flood into Cape Town for a free house, free electricity and free water.
Which YOU pay for!
This has to stop.

Imagine hating your own skin colour so much that you'd rather watch the Springboks lose than have them as "untransformed" World Champions, lol.
It's okay to be white, Kim. Every POC who earned their Springboks place on merit would tell you to voetsek.

🇿🇦 White South African farmer brutally tortured in farm attack
A 50-year-old White South African cattle farmer, Donovan Marx, was brutally tortured during an attack on his farm in Syferfontein, between Potchefstroom and Ventersdorp in South Africa's North West province.
According to police, three unidentified armed men wearing balaclavas entered the property and tied up a farmworker before confronting Marx, shooting him in the upper body, dragging him into his house and restraining him with cable ties.
During the attack, Marx had both ears cut off, was severely beaten, shot in the back and stabbed in the leg. According to Agri North West deputy chairperson André Strydom, the attackers also attempted to mutilate his genitals.
The attackers stole three firearms from a safe and escaped in Marx's red Isuzu pickup truck. The farmworker eventually freed himself and alerted Marx's wife, Louise, who had left for work earlier that morning.
Marx underwent emergency surgery at Mediclinic Potchefstroom after suffering a kidney injury. Doctors reportedly managed to save the kidney. As of Thursday afternoon, he was described as being in critical but stable condition.

UPDATE: Still no coverage of the horrific attack on and torture of farmer Donovan Marx on News24, IOL, eNCA, SABC News, Daily Maverick, Mail&Guardian, the Sowetan, or City Press.
Naked bias on display. The media are complicit in the farm murders/attacks cover-up.
FARM ATTACK: Another South African farmer attacked and brutally tortured on his farm this week.
Cattle farmer, Donovan Marx, from the North West province, had his ears cut off on Wednesday morning during a farm attack.
He was also shot in the shoulder and stabbed (with a sharp object) in the leg.
And, for the umpteenth time, as far as I can determine, not a single article on any English media platform about it. This gross coverage disparity between the Afrikaans and English media when it comes to farm murders is what makes it possible for so many politicians and commentators to get away with their disgusting farm murder denialism.
You know what's even more infuriating? History and research shows, if the victim was black and the torturers were white, we would see this story on every front page and news channel for weeks. Debates, panel discussions, political party statements - the works! The president would even come out and condemn the attack.
Again, I refuse to accept the twisted, psychopathic standard that dismisses a farmer having his ears cut off as "just normal crime."

In 2018, violent protests and a controversial land invasion changed Hermanus forever. A protected milkwood forest was destroyed, political promises were broken, and serious questions remain unanswered.
Who failed to act? Who benefited? And how was this allowed to happen?
Stolen Ground: The Hermanus Story investigates the political failures, broken promises and events that led to the Schulphoek land invasion.

35 countries across Africa charge their citizens cheaper petrol prices than South Africa.
We are being ROBBED blind.
Imagine paying R5 a litre of petrol today?
That's what Angola pays right now.
teapawt.org/CaptMylo/status/211392…
This benefits EVERYONE and grows the economy.
As all products require diesel or petrol to transported from A to B.
Cheaper fuel = cheaper products = more money in your pocket, to help your family, grow your business, employ more people, save more for your future.
An independent Cape would easily get the petrol price down to R5.
It's time to cut ourselves free from this sinking ship, and remove the cANCer.

DATA CENTRE DANGERS.
CAPEXIT Warns the DA...
Electricity? Water? Public Costs?
youtube.com/watch?v=vvtqinVC…
CAPEXIT Leader, Cllr Jack Miller, warned the DA and Cape Town City Council that proper investigation needs to be done into the size and consumption of the proposed Data Centres, particularly Hyperscaler Data Centres, and the impact these centres could have on the amount of electricity and clean water available to Cape Town residents.
In the recent past, Cape Town residents have been heavily taxed and punished by the DA for supposedly using "too much" electricity and water.
The obvious question then is, in a place that has suffered over the last two decades with regular rolling blackouts, or "load-shedding", and years in which Cape Town was said to be near "Day Zero" of running out of water, how can the DA approve projects that are projected to use from 20% to potentially over 50% of our current electricity supply?
Once again, the DA has forced through development projects that have a potentially massive impact on the public, yet that same voting and tax-paying public has no say or control over these critically important matters.
CAPEXIT will change this type of governance model.
CAPEXIT stands for Direct Democracy - the tried, trusted, tested, and proven model of the Switzerland Government.
A system where Public Participation guides and controls government.
Government by the people.
For the people.
